I saw this comment in Moon of Alabama today. I think tomorrow is going to be a shitshow.
In any event, I still stand by my prediction that, given Trump's narcissistic nature, no matter how the election turns out - even if it's a landslide for Biden - Trump will try to foment a Constitutional Crisis by any means necessary - including fomenting riots in the street and Federal government over-reaction to those riots. He has absolutely no reason not to - since everything is all about him. As long as he doesn't do something that gets him thrown in jail, he'll do anything and everything he can to screw up the election. That's who he is - an extremely stupid - but cunning - bull in a China shop. #68

And then I saw this in the NYT which blew my mind. It's a story about A pro-Trump Nebraskan whose farming equipment was set on fire.
The fact that one vehicle was outfitted with Trump flags has led some residents and some of the more than 1,700 people who commented on Mr. Rempel’s Facebook post about the blaze to declare the fire politically motivated.
This is the comment that stopped me short.
“I like what he stands for. He’s against abortion. He’s against evil. He’s against higher taxes,” said Pat Goossen, who owns The Petal Pusher, a flower shop on Henderson’s Main Street. “He shares my values. I don’t want higher taxes. I don’t want our jobs going out.”

They are boarding up windows in cities up and down the Bay. A friend said she saw hundres of pro-Trump cars heading up to the city (SF) when she went up yesterday.

is my take. They'll calm down -- perhaps not before they have expended all their fury and engaged in violence -- sooner if the MSM acts responsible (ha ha). As the outcome is unlikely to be in dispute, it would be best if Twitter suspends the accounts of all Trumpsters (including Trump) fomenting violence, insurrection for 48 hours.

I couldn't care less who wins tomorrow. We the little people have already lost.
Being here in a red state, if biden wins, it would be nice to see less trump flags on the backs of trucks and in people's yards and on their porches. I'd just like to know what they think he's done for us little people in the past 4 years.
On the other hand, it will also be nice not to see those giant biden/harris yard signs. I get just as depressed seeing those as I do seeing the T flags. One house has one of those giant signs in their yard and on their porch is a trump/jesus flag. So, dense pence is supposed to be jesus now?
Those signs and flags are like hanging your underwear in your front yard. Nobody wants to see them.

Either not well informed because he is too busy to be or because he isn't looking at the truth of what Trump has done with 'jobs going out'. If he had he would have seen that Trump has given companies 100's of billions to move their companies overseas. Or that some of his 'big accomplishments' *cough* FoxConn *cough* haven't done what they would say they would after building their big building after getting tax breaks, but not hiring many workers. Then there are the car factories that he promised wouldn't be leaving, but then closed down and left for better profits.
BTW Guess who might be waiting in the wings to run for president in 2024? Besides Nikki Haley....there is Liz Cheney who has a Margaret Thatcher type vibe to her. Shiver.

Listening to the rest of the video it seems that the Trump crew aren't planning for massive investigations into their past actions if he loses, but instead going forward with their lives and finding ways to make money. Boy some people are going to be disappointed about that. TopKop's prosecutorial skills are going to go to waste.

I know her well. We walk together every day. She goes to the city often to see her daughter. I assure you she was not making this up. I asked her how many and she said as far as she could see. A number of the cars had trump signs.
Something is going on because the businesses on the Peninsula are boarding up.

There are Trumpsters everywhere
and yes, they were out in force this weekend.
Yesterday we had to go out to do a few errands and there was a parade of vehicles (mostly trucks, a number of motorcycles, and some cars), all decked out with Trump flags, American flags, and even proudly displaying confederate flags. This group was tooling up and down Broadway blowing their horns and making a lot of noise. We saw them a few times, going first east then west and back again.
And yes I realize that AZ is not a blue state like CA, but where I live, in Tucson/Pima country, is generally a blue stronghold. That doesn't mean we don't have our share of Trumpsters around here.
Conversely, I never saw one single Biden sign or even so much as a Biden bumper sticker the entire time we were out. Conclusion: Trumpsters are very enthusiastic, and they are not 'shy' about it. I found the whole display surprisingly depressing, especially given I cannot stand Biden. But confederate flags? No. Just no.
But in San Francisco?
I just don't see it.
Sure there are a few closet Trumpsters. But out in the open? In large numbers?

Note the article says they started in Novato and demonstrated in Marin City. That is literally the only part of Marin County with large public housing projects and a black community.
In other words, they came from Sonoma County, which is less surprising.
As for SF, I can literally step out on my balcony right now, and look up the hill, and see "RESIST" spray-painted in 15-foot letters.

With the evolution of both parties into imperialist, corporate parties that screw the working class, the parties now highlight hot button issues and lie a lot to acquire and hang on to voters. The Democrats have long since abandoned the working class and Trump and the Repubs rally the white working class on guns, immigrants, etc. Blue MAGA is also nuts. You get groups of misinformed, armed people who believe their opponents are crazed, baby-killing, etc., etc. The M$M are completely propaganda organizations who make money by slanting the news to whichever tribe supports them. The government is completely dysfunctional. We have been moving in this direction a long time. Collapse is more likely than correction.
