Twitter is censoring this NY Post's article on Hunter Biden

This is what Twitter said when I tried doing it:

91907A3E-2464-4D21-B8A2-81ECDA641E78.jpeg

The shop owner couldn’t positively identify the customer as Hunter Biden, but said the laptop bore a sticker from the Beau Biden Foundation, named after Hunter’s late brother and former Delaware attorney general.

But before turning over the gear, the shop owner says, he made a copy of the hard drive and later gave it to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

Steve Bannon, former adviser to President Trump, told The Post about the existence of the hard drive in late September and Giuliani provided The Post with a copy of it on Sunday.
....

Meanwhile, an email dated May 12, 2014 — shortly after Hunter Biden joined the Burisma board — shows Pozharskyi attempting to get him to use his political leverage to help the company.

The message had the subject line “urgent issue” and was also sent to Hunter Biden’s business partner, Devon Archer, who also sat on the Burisma board at the time.

Pozharskyi said that “the representatives of new authorities in power tend to quite aggressively approach N. Z. unofficially with the aim to obtain cash from him.”

N.Z. isn’t identified in the email but appears to be a reference to Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, whose first name is a Ukrainian version of “Nicholas.”

When the alleged shakedown failed, “they proceeded with concrete actions” in the form of “one or more pretrial proceedings,” Pozharskyi wrote.

“We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc .to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions,” he added.

Hunter Biden responded by saying he was with Archer in Doha, Qatar, and asked for more information about “the formal (if any) accusations being made against Burisma.”

The exchange came the same day that Burisma announced it had expanded its board of directors by adding Hunter Biden, who was put in charge of its “legal unit and will provide support for the Company among international organizations,” according to a news release that’s since been scrubbed from Burisma’s website.

His lawyer said last year that Hunter was “not a member of the management team,” adding, “At no time was Hunter in charge of the company’s legal affairs.”

Y’all need to read the rest because of fair use, but remember who brought this Burisma stuff up in the first place. Centrists are sayin that Giuliani went on a snipe hunt all on his own, but that was after Joe Biden spilled the beans:

“I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,” Biden infamously bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018.

“Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

In related news Barr has closed the investigation into unmasking by some people in Obama’s administration and he will not charge anyone for it. Durham’s investigations will not be released before the election and I’m betting that he will drag it out until Trump is out of office and then Biden will bury it. As well as the media. The CrowdStrike bombshell announced in 2017 when its CEO admitted to Schiff and congress that he never saw evidence that Russia hacked the DNC computers was met with silence. As was the bombshell of the FBI/Brennan found out from Russia that Hillary was going to set up Trump for every thing related to Russia Gate and that too was met with silence. As was the fact that the NY attorney’s office found Hillary’s emails on Anthony Weiner's laptop, but Comey and Strzock ignored them as did members of both parties. Yes the republicans are playing along with democrats on making Russia the bad guy. So I expect nothing will come from any investigation into the sewer that was Obama’s administration and the intelligence agencies too.

Let’s remember how long Barr, Mueller, Comey, Brennan and others have been in government and covering up the sordid history of many, many people. The swamp will never be drained because we keep voting in new swamp creatures.

Lol....

Of course it’s caused the Streisand effect to go into play and it’s gone viral. Lol...or was that the plan all along? Just something else to distract us from the more important issues? Cuz just what is the FBI investigating?

There were problems with running a campaign of Joy while committing a genocide? Who could have guessed?

Harris is unburdened of speaking going forward.

is that they only publish authentic documents. And claim those files are provided to them by people that had authorized access to them.

While I think the NY Post article is a nothingburger, it disturbed me in a few ways. First these were private/personal files that were stolen by a person(s) that was not authorized. Second, the emails labeled as a smoking gun (I disagree) may not even be authentic. Why hasn't the Trump DOJ acted on this if this evidence is so incriminating?

It's perfectly legal for the private sector to censor anything they choose. Media companies have been doing that since like forever. That's why alternative media has also existed like forever. Most of that is crap and most people know its crap, but its reach was more limited because you had to buy it at the supermarket check-out line; so it was less dangerous. Now this crap travels fast and like Pizzagate can hurt completely innocent people.

@Marie anything they choose."

You are quite right. And this is a big problem, because the major media is in private hands, along with the biggest social media platforms. We have no guarantee that the sources of news that most people rely on will print the truth. Caitlin Johnstone wrote about this today:

@Marie

to the NY Times when they did their story on Trump's taxes? To when Melania's phone conversations were publicized? Did they give permission for the materials to be released?
'Pentagon Papers' ring a bell?

First these were private/personal files that were stolen by a person(s) that was not authorized.

Even if these were stolen (what is your basis for saying they were?), they were not stolen by the NY Post - they got them from Giuliani's lawyer.

the emails labeled as a smoking gun (I disagree) may not even be authentic

As to authenticity, well, if they *weren't* you'd think Hunter Biden would be making public claims to that effect... but he hasn't now, has he?

Why hasn't the Trump DOJ acted on this if this evidence is so incriminating?

Umm, because it is not the "Trump" DOJ but clearly by its actions (and inactions in producing legitimately requested documents) is the Swamp/Deep State DOJ - who have every intention of keeping this and their ongoing coup attempts covered up - certainly not publicized and prosecuted.

@Marie

that consistent with past practice, you continue to trot out questionable assertions and then decline to back up when someone *does* question them.

Kind of like the MSM although at least when called out they will occasionally make some low profile retraction...

BTW as for...

It's perfectly legal for the private sector to censor anything they choose.

If we are talking publishers then, in general, yes, because they are responsible for the content that they put out and failing to do so can get expensive - see CNN/ Nick Sandman.

But the rationale for shielding internet providers, social media and such from such responsibility (under Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act) was supposed to be that it was not possible for them to monitor and regulate all the content that users were generating.

Now, however, they can and do monitor content and do regulate it in non-transparent ways, but with clear ideological/political biases. And, having gained near-monopolies over information exchange this censorship amounts to clear and blatant election interference.

Yet people who were outraged by relatively minuscule "Russian interference" in the 2016 election seem mostly just fine with far more widespread and blatant domestic (if the concept even applies to Google/Facebook/Twitter) interference going on right now under their noses.

It's somehow acceptable as long as it's Jack Dorsey or Mark Zuckerberg doing it and not Vladimir P.?

Internet forums that are really forums deserve protection and should keep it - but those actively censoring legal content on ideological grounds should not. Big tech monopolies should be broken up and those using control of information to interfere in elections deserve prosecution.

Which does not stand a great chance of happening under a second Trump Administration but still a lot higher than the zero percent chance of it happening under a Harris-Biden one.

"Once you buy the argument that some segment of the citizenry should lose their rights, just because they are envied or resented, you are putting your own rights in jeopardy - quite aside from undermining any moral basis for respecting anybody's rights. You are opening the floodgates to arbitrary power. And once you open the floodgates, you can't tell the water where to go."

The story really is much worse than the suppressed article suggests. Biden helped foment a coup in Ukraine and install fascists, and his son is placed on the board. Then he threatens to withhold aid if they don't fire the prosecutor investigating Hunter.
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXA--dj2-CY]

In 2016 Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, in his investigation of corruption involving Burisma Holdings, a natural gas company, identified Hunter Biden as the recipient of over $3,000,000 from the company.

Not wanting this corruption exposed, Joe Biden swung into action, using US loan guarantees as hostage while demanding Skokin be fired.

Amazingly, Joe Biden now brags about his actions in this matter.

@Lookout is damning as hell and yet no one will touch it. Biden is being installed by the media who are protecting the hell out of him.

As for Hunter Biden, his seat on the board of Burisma is exactly how bribery works. The money is laundered through a relative. I am just shocked that no one has made a campaign issue of this.

So is Biden the lesser of two evils? Evil is evil. There is no lesser evil.

so well and for emphasizing what the pervasive crime is financially:

Biden helped foment a coup in Ukraine and install fascists, and...

Not wanting this corruption exposed, Joe Biden swung into action, using US loan guarantees as hostage while demanding Skokin be fired.

Even the excellent discussion at Moon of Alabama refers to the money Biden wielded as loans. I just watched the video again of Biden bragging about withholding the money, and he definitely says, "loan guarantees."

There's a big difference between a loan and a LOAN GUARANTEE. This is what the U.S. government is throwing around the world, full payment of outrageous loans to governments to engage in everything from war to HRC's Global Shale Initiative.

No wonder Burisma, an energy company in a struggling country, can afford to pay an attorney $50 thousand dollars a month, and no wonder the American government is $20 trillion dollars in debt.
