More voter suppression- Sanders name left off DC Ballot
Submitted by Borkrom on Wed, 03/30/2016 - 6:12pm
Interesting how you follow the rules (pay your fee and meet the datelines), but yet the establishment does it best to suppress your rights. I am not sure if this was on purpose or incompetent but it smells kinda of fishy.

Please share and bring light to this issue. Funny you need a special session to fix your own error that seems stupid to me why not just fix it.
If Bernie is going to win the nomination he needs every vote.

Our 1st write in test perhaps?
All over the web I see people saying they'll write his name in if he's not on the ballot. I see this on red sites, blue sites, everywhere people can post and argue.
I'm beginning to believe that Bernie could be the first and only president elected by a majority derived from write in ballots.
Seriously, I think we should be building a 'Write in Bernie' campaign, now.
A campaign that reaches out to all the people Bernie is reaching out to (which is everyone of course).
Such a movement would, if it took off, give us a pitchfork at the convention.
Should the PTB deny Sanders the nomination we would have a head start for the general in November.
Many people will write in Bernie if he doesn't get the nom. I'm one of those.
If people feel certain that enough other people are doing the same, they will do it.
They'll write in Bernie Sanders.
Pipe dream you say?
Look at the times and the mood of the people today. They hate congress, politicians, being lied to over and over again, division and gridlock.
The people are pissed.
Bernie or bust.
Seriously.

but still relevant IMHO...
...the more things change the more they have stayed the same. Well, I heard my pal Bernie is out to do something about that...

IF Sanders does not get the nomination,
a write in campaign will be important. There are a number of states that only allow write ins if the candidate has requested his name be included...varies from state to state. Someone needs to take a look at what the deadlines are in the various states to make this possible...just in case.

I'm in favor of this option.
I want Bernie to have my vote no matter what.

Minnesota, written request by Candidate
MN SoS Write ins
I'll call their office to see if a 3rd party can make the written request tomorrow.
Maybe a petition or decision by the SoS is possible.
So, we'll have to find a way to pressure Bernie to make the requests.
I didn't say it would all be easy.

This is despicable
His name needs to appear on the ballot, there is still plenty of time to print new ones.
We can't just sit and take this BS.

Do ya think the fix was in?
Nah, couldn't happen. Hillary and her minions are much too politically correct for that.
No, they are politically repulsive.

A bit more on this
from Bernie Sanders May Be Off DC Ballot After Democratic Party Filing
Follow the trail there to Tom Sherwood's Tweet where he makes it very clear that HRC and Sanders' paperwork was filed at the same time. The only difference is ONE voter in DC contested Sanders' and Sanders' only being added to the ballot.
This should have been a no brainer for the Board of Elections.
Anyone in DC? Have time to go file a challenge to HRC being included? Bet the Board would speed up their meeting then.

Ain't no valley low enough
Hillary and her hired mud slingers have been hard at work. I'm feeling okay about Wisconsin, but I'm worried about the insidious, nefarious, corrupt Clinton political machine in New York. Remember Teddy Roosevelt was nominated for VP to get him and his efforts to end corruption out of NY.

Sad but true thanks for sharing. Family got a good laugh.
