The Ruling Class has always been your enemy
They have screwed you, the country and the world in order to keep their positions, power and wealth. To do this they and the MSM have created a completely bogus image of what the US is and has been. Almost nobody in power is interested in your well being. Look at how the US has behaved towards its own citizens and the world then compare it to the image that used car salesmen like characters - Clinton, Obama and Trump are peddling. We are not great, we are just victims. As an example, in 1960 it took one wage earner to support and raise a family. Then we got screwed. Since 1945 we have killed some 11 million people in wars of choice, and wounded, starved and screwed another four times that. We want nothing to do with international laws, we do whatever we want, and walk away from treaties.
So, don't look behind that curtain, just look at Russia and China. They must be evil because they are our adversaries and we have the best marketing department in the world.
The truth is that Russia and China are concentrating on building a better society for their citizens. They have absolutely no interest in challenging the US. The US creates a problem for Russia and China, that is that US military power is an existential threat and a means of bullying the world. Make no mistake about it, if the US were to reduce its military by a factor of 10 both countries would shrink their armed forces down to that absolute minimum for genuine defense of their respective countries, a concept that is completely foreign to the US. The US craves global power competition under the belief that the US can dominate. With the pandemic and US economy collapsing the US political class might want to rethink that. But I doubt that they will, as the thinking from the elites is that the US is great and powerful and we cannot allow that to change under any circumstances. Meanwhile the US MSM will fill in the marketing bullshit that China and Russia are bad and cannot be trusted. This is criminal and will not end well. A wise country rules by moral persuasion, a despotic country rules by fear. Today this is well understood around the world, except for one place, the US.
Capitalism has always been the rule of the people by the oligarchs. You only have two choices, eliminate them or restrict their power.

I'm still seeing too many people blaming the small businesses and people who are living on the edge for not saving enough to get them through this shutdown, but they will still give big businesses a pass for taking bailouts. Most of the ones that have could have sold their stocks that they have been busy buying back. Why? Because they say that they are the job creators blah blah...
Yup. Every dollar spent on the military is an excuse for congress to put more austerity measures on we the people. Biden's biggest criticism of MFA is how much it would cost and then out of the blue congress coughs that up for the banks. The cruise line business got a back door bailout that is just becoming known. The bailouts had limits to $10 million IIRC, but one of Trump's donors got $96 million. Trump and son in law who are big slumlords are asking for reduced rates to pay on their loans or to not pay for awhile. Big companies are saying that they won't pay their rent, but no one is shaming them. It's just us lowly peons who should have done better.
Psst..take the 11 million and double it. If not more.
