Confession: the mechanism by which PEA exerts antiviral, anti fungal, antibacterial action is unknown. I rashly assumed that the mechanism was produced by zinc iontophoresis. This may be true but I was wrong to assert certainty on this issue.
To have to poop too much - is always bad and sad and makes us mad.
No problem, alligator, I eat my peanut butter and otherwise believe only 0.00001 percent of the world population understand zinc iontophoresis,but 100 percent of the world population understand poop.
Sigh. If I just could think outside of poop-terminology ... -
oh, and did I tell you that I once had a class at a highly repsected University near the house where the leader poops, in biostatistics - and - hold your breath - he, the professor was a very old Chinese guy. Imagine all the damage done to my emotional health because of all that Chinese poop science I didn't understand. I dropped out of the program - after I was asked to table 3 thousand dollars at that time to pay for my classes. I was so damn mad I started pooping in my pants. And then I was glad to have refused to pay. All my Chinese poop bases do belong to me nowadays.
Ok, we need to do statistcal data gathering among our readers at C99p.
Take care of yourself. My son's girl friend has lost her job yesterday (service job for tourist's excursions in HI- on salary - applications online to file for unempployment benefits impossible - overload of people trying to do the same), my son is down to three hours a day of paid work, the father of girl-friend thinks next weekend all the bars will be open again and he can have his margheritas with the homeless buddies (which he wants to help spending all his savings on them). He whines about how much hard work he has done in life and now wants to enjoy the rest of it drinking in HI, while demonstrating his bipolar dementia to the next palm tree. My son goes nuts over all the shit has experienced for the last 22 years and can't forget. Sleepless nights in Seattle , err HI. Hallelujah!
But I enjoy reading your stuff nevertheless and hunker down in bed and hiding the Ruskies like Putino and drumpino under my bed, dreaming to drop a poop on them, when they don't behave.

His show the other day about having difficult conversations was excellent IMO... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRR2ot8CuM4
It is a full hour. I listened as I cleaned house yesterday.
I've been using this time to work in the garden and do those things around the house I normally put off. Washing windows over the weekend to improve the view to all the beautiful spring blooms.
Take care, and I suspect you are correct about the zinc.

a zinc-carbon battery into my shorts will be a complete waste of time AND money? Do you realize how many 'D' sized batteries I bought yesterday in order to avoid the coming panic buying?
I even made a nice attachment that flashed colored lights to show that the battery was still good.
@CB
Keep the electrodes away from the tender parts, CB, else you'll find out how far you can jump. And be very careful when urinating. Those short circuits can cause nasty burns.

The accidental short circuit did wonders for a man my age. I have installed a switch and rheostat for full control. This will give me a new hobby to make quarantine less onerous.

even when you think you have figured out the physical process that explains the data, there will always be something occurring that has not been elucidated in any meaningful way. The nature of Reality (as I say) is Quantum Mechanical (for which understanding is denied) and the stuff of reality [our precise measurements, elegant explanations, and hyper-fast computations (or that 'does not compute' … more likely)] emerges from that foggy realm. Tis the way of the world, and we shall just have to live with it.
@PriceRip
Almost sounds like it is good for whatever ails you.
Zinc, a divalent cation, is an essential micronutrient for humans and its importance can be gauged from the fact that it is an essential component of more than 300 metalloenzymes and over 2000 transcription factors that are needed for regulation of lipid, protein and nucleic acid metabolism, and gene transcription. It is involved in gene transcription at various levels, via participation in histone deacetylation reactions and via factors possessing the zinc-finger motifs [1]. An important family of zinc-finger proteins is the steroid or thyroid hormone receptors that bind hormones and facilitate their wide range of effects. Zinc also plays an important role in maintaining the proper reproductive function, immune status, and wound repair via regulation of DNA and RNA polymerases, thymidine kinase, and ribonuclease. It maintains macrophage and neutrophil functions, natural killer cell activity, and complement activity. It activates natural killer cells and phagocytic function of granulocytes and stabilizes the plasma subcellular membranes especially the lysosomes. It inhibits the expression of integrins by keratinocytes and modulates the production of TNF-α and IL-6 and reduces the production of inflammatory mediators like nitric oxide. It is also proposed that it is toll-like receptors mediated regulation of zinc homeostasis which influences dendritic cell function and immune processes [2]. Zinc also possesses antioxidant property and has been found useful in preventing UV-induced damage and reducing the incidence of malignancies. It has also been demonstrated to possess antiandrogenic properties as it causes modulation of 5α-reductase type 1 and 2 activity
There it is. All played out for us to marvel at and wish we knew this sooner. Medical training, in the ancient days, when Harvey Cushing still walked the earth and even post-Korean War was filled with taboos and ill-advised omissions. One taboo which has turned out to be be overwrought was anti-chiropractic disdain. In fact, chiropractic has excellent application in spinal and perpheral joint treatment. Claims of chiropractic efficacy in non-spinal, non-orthopedic disorders derives solely from the pain and stress-relieving properties of restoring prop[er spinal and joint alignment.
I just finished reading an article of how anterior cruciate ligament tears in the knee (which is the only place we find the ACLs) cause human brain restructuring. This is a topic for another day. But in this single example we see the influence of peripheral tissues on brain structure and functioning. Who would have thought this possible--other than chiropractors? But now this effect is confirmed by neuroanalytic techniques.
Another failing of classic medical school curricula has been the almost total avoidance of nutraceuticals. The reason for such omissions is due to the fact that nutraceuticals cannot be patented, thus Big Pharma, seeing no opportunity to earn big bucks from them, eschews nutraceuticals entirely. Although Big Pharma cannot prevent the sale of nutraceuticals, because they are derived from natural sources, strengthened only by purification or isolation techniques, do not require FDA scrutiny.
As an aside, the only particle physics with which I am concerned, are the digestive fates of particles offered to my alimentary system.
So, please, Sir RIP,
pardon my elementary discourse
on Zinc of course.
