I would allow for the possibility that the initially reported results were a fuck-up of the app and general incompetence. The slow release of results that were wrong and the continuing trickle of 1% by 1% of precincts? I see you, DNC pricks, I see you and your odious little hosehead Mayo Pete too.

It's a Procrustean algorithm. Buttigieg was right where they wanted him, so he only got 10 extra votes. They've thrown Biden, Warren, and Klobuchar under the bus, so it appears they've outlived their usefulness. They want Patrick and Steyer in the race. Bloomberg isn't running until Super Tuesday.

They weren't supposed to get caught doing it. The vote switches were meant to be on the sly so no one would know that they did it. But the app malfunctioned and it became obvious what they were trying to do.

Then the DNC rolls up with its piss-poor election stealing plan, ready to mobilize months of conniving and shit all over voters. I was reading a Twitter comment from a simpleton saying that Bernie Sanders isn't turning out Obama numbers (ergo has no chance against Trump), and all I could think was "between then and now, a cackling villain stole the primary in collusion with the party. Of course numbers are going down, they are lucky to have anyone show up." Yet Sanders is winning over independents and some Republican voters. But let's torpedo him! Because the Obama/Clinton consultancy cartel is more important than democracy!

(and sorry to tell this story again, it's kind of a 'uge one for me.)
My late father was a loyal Republican and diehard Dittohead. Until I was helping my mom close out his affairs, I didn't even know Fox News and Bill O'Riley had paid subscriptions, both of which he had. The two of us couldn't talk politics for obvious reasons. Also worth mentioning, he was a small midwestern town guy (graduating class of 12, for instance.) So keep that in mind too.
Anyhow, in the thick of 2016, back when Sanders was getting screwed by the DNC and mostly ignored by the media, my father just out of the blue told me he would vote for Sanders if they'd actually let him win the primary. To me, this was so unexpected. I loved my father, but I always felt part of why he liked the right wing media so much was that they were over the top blowhards. (He was also a lifelong wrestling fan.
) So, I just expected Trump would be his guy.
I was so flabbergasted, I didn't follow up and I always wish I had. I love to know why. Naturally, he would have walked over hot coals to vote against HER, but the idea that he'd have voted for Bernie Sanders, who the media and DNC wanted us to believe was toxic to guys like my dad...well, I think you know the rest.
