This SofU really did sum up the theater plays that our government has become. From congress including the dems applauding for the worst things Trump said to the final childish act by Nancy tearing up his speech. Her doing that removed any dignity she had left. She betrayed everything that congress is supposed to stand for and made herself look small and petty. It'd be one thing if her act had any meaning, but it didn't after democrats have not been resisting Trump his entire tenure.
And as for the Iowa debacle I predicted it the day that we found out that there would be 3 different ways to report the results. I laughed at it and asked what could go wrong? I will have to find that comment.

Clancy wrote a book with just that ending. A new VP was waiting in the tunnel to be sworn in when a pilot flew a plane into the capital and killed everyone there but him. Everyone was there just like at the sotu and that wiped out the corrupt government and the people had the chance to start over again. And they did just that. No one who had been in any office could run, the tax code was cut down to 2-3 lines and the country lived happily ever after.
