WaPo columnist endorses all twelve candidates

Alexandra Petri tells us:

In a break from tradition, I am endorsing all 12 Democratic candidates.

Of course, this is a parody of the NYT's endorsement of Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren, trying to encourage the "who cares about policy we want an identity-politics win" vote. Petri's funniest moment is:

One of two things is wrong with America: Either the entire system is broken or is on the verge of breaking, and we need someone to bring about radical, structural change, or — we don’t need that at all! Which is it? Who can say? Certainly not me, and that is why I am telling you now which candidate to vote for.

Here's the real issue, which the NYT editorial board would present if it were doing anything more than sticking up for its best buds on the Trilateral Commission. Here's what the NYT, WaPo, etc. would say if they were being honest. "We need dramatic change in America today, but I'm too privileged to endorse it, so I think I'll just stick with the conundrum of a bunch of candidates who would sacrifice the world for my stock portfolio, as opposed to Bernie, who would tax the portfolio a bit to save the world."

Meanwhile, in a celebration of Martin Luther King Junior day, I donated $2.70 to Bernie's campaign. And:

@orlbucfan what "'hoary' bunch of FRightwingnut white collared craporate crooks" means -- the Trilateral Commission is like the World Economic Forum, founded a couple of years later, and joining a broad cross-section of global elites in conversation.

@lotlizard At any rate, people think these organizations are fictive because the conspiracy theorists have made too much of them. They're clubs, where the elites go to have idle conversations about how things should be run. That's all they are. It's still real.

WaPo and NYT both encouraging their readerships to split the 'Anybody But Bernie' vote six ways from Super Tuesday? Fantastic!

It's like the editorial boards are secretly working for Bernie with these silly Confuse-a-Cat non-endorsements. They just don't realize it.

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

Aside from the snark addressed to the the NYTIMES endorsement they put a video in the middle of it. I watched it so you don't have to. In keeping with there continual attacks on Bernie the video just rehashed the Warren inspired so called feud (hit job). Mission accomplished.
