People like to point out how many indictments and guilty pleas Mueller has gotten to prove their beliefs about it are correct. Indictments on people who will never be in court and proven guilty. And there's no connection to Collusion on the people who have plead guilty. Just things from their past. Flynn might not have actually lied to the FBI according to some of the FBI agents that were involved in this. He didn't remember exactly what he said on the calls to Russia so his answers were different from what was on the wiretaps. Not sure exactly what the Popa... dude lied about, but it must not have been a big deal since he only spent two weeks in prison.

Thanks for posting this link. It sure looks like Flynn was fired because he wouldn't shut up about what Obama was doing in Syria.

General Dempsey and his colleagues on the Joint Chiefs of Staff kept their dissent out of bureaucratic channels, and survived in office. General Michael Flynn did not. ‘Flynn incurred the wrath of the White House by insisting on telling the truth about Syria,’ said Patrick Lang, a retired army colonel who served for nearly a decade as the chief Middle East civilian intelligence officer for the DIA. ‘He thought truth was the best thing and they shoved him out. He wouldn’t shut up.’ Flynn told me his problems went beyond Syria. ‘I was shaking things up at the DIA – and not just moving deckchairs on the Titanic. It was radical reform. I felt that the civilian leadership did not want to hear the truth. I suffered for it, but I’m OK with that.’ In a recent interview in Der Spiegel, Flynn was blunt about Russia’s entry into the Syrian war: ‘We have to work constructively with Russia. Whether we like it or not, Russia made a decision to be there and to act militarily. They are there, and this has dramatically changed the dynamic. So you can’t say Russia is bad; they have to go home. It’s not going to happen. Get real.’

And here's why Tulsi is called an Assad lover.

Few in the US Congress share this view. One exception is Tulsi Gabbard, a Democrat from Hawaii and member of the House Armed Services Committee who, as a major in the Army National Guard, served two tours in the Middle East. In an interview on CNN in October she said: ‘The US and the CIA should stop this illegal and counterproductive war to overthrow the Syrian government of Assad and should stay focused on fighting against … the Islamic extremist groups.’

‘Does it not concern you,’ the interviewer asked, ‘that Assad’s regime has been brutal, killing at least 200,000 and maybe 300,000 of his own people?’

‘The things that are being said about Assad right now,’ Gabbard responded, ‘are the same that were said about Gaddafi, they are the same things that were said about Saddam Hussein by those who were advocating for the US to … overthrow those regimes … If it happens here in Syria … we will end up in a situation with far greater suffering, with far greater persecution of religious minorities and Christians in Syria, and our enemy will be far stronger.’

‘So what you are saying,’ the interviewer asked, ‘is that the Russian military involvement in the air and on-the-ground Iranian involvement – they are actually doing the US a favour?’

‘They are working toward defeating our common enemy,’ Gabbard replied.

(and yes, I know you all know this)

the "Russian involvement" is not an actual thing but is merely a deliberate lie that was chosen as Hillary's excuse for losing.

All of these monied people have contacts throughout the world and have made deals with criminals in many countries so it's a simple matter to concoct "evidence" by pointing out the deals that match up, country-wise, with whatever kooky claim you're making. Want to say Ireland did it? There's "evidence"! Someone visited there! And sat at the same table as an Irishman!

As has been mentioned before, "Russiagate" is just an overblown version of "Lamont hacked my website". It's amazing that it's gotten two+ years of exposure without collapsing. And we know there are many who will always believe it, many who hate Russia because they've been told to.

It feels like a sitcom, where the reality is so mind-boggling that all you can do is shrug your shoulders with a smile while a short 4 second 1970s style end-of-show theme plays.

Senate Intelligence panel found no 'direct evidence' of conspiracy—it would be surprising if it had.

Democrats and Republicans already have different conclusions about what that actually means, but here's what a former federal prosecutor says it means: Nothing. Former U.S. Attorney Chuck Rosenberg told MSNBC's Katy Tur Tuesday that it's exceedingly rare to find "direct evidence" of conspiracy. "In fact, in the dozens and dozens of cases I tried to a jury, only once ever did I have direct evidence of a conspiracy," Rosenberg said. "You almost never see that."

Rosenberg also noted that circumstantial evidence is "every bit as important" as direct evidence. "So to say that there's no direct evidence of a conspiracy is really not all that damning on the facts of the case," he added.

"There's never been a campaign in American history ... [where] people affiliated with the campaign had as many ties with Russia as the Trump campaign did," noted the ranking member of the panel, Sen. Mark Warner

"The Senate Intelligence Committee does not have a grand jury, criminal subpoenas, search warrants and the ability to make a deal with a person indicted by a grand jury."

This is been repeated so many times there and no one has called people out on it.

Then there is the amazing coincidence of Trump publicly calling on Russia to find Clinton’s emails and the attack the same day on the servers.

What Trump said was, "hey Russia, if you find Hillary's missing emails...." remember why Hillary's emails were missing? Because she said that she deleted them even though congress had told her to turn them in which she should have done after she stopped being SOS. BTW. If anyone in congress still wants to look at them they can be found in the NYC FBI office on Anthony Weiner's laptop. All of them.

Judicial Watch: FBI General Counsel Talked to Hillary Clinton’s Lawyer about Comey’s Letter on Weiner Laptop Clinton Emails
FEBRUARY 11, 2019

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today it received 215 pages of records from the U.S. Department of Justice revealing former FBI General Counsel James Baker discussed the investigation of Clinton-related emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop with Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall. Baker then forwarded the conversation to his FBI colleagues.

The documents also further describe a previously reported quid pro quo from the Obama State Department offering the FBI more legal attaché positions if it would downgrade a redaction in an email found during the Hillary Clinton email investigation “from classified to something else.”
...
“It is big news that, just days before the presidential election, Hillary Clinton’s personal lawyer pressured the top lawyer for the FBI on the infamous Weiner laptop emails,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “These documents further underscore that the fix was in for Hillary Clinton. When will the Justice Department and FBI finally do an honest investigation of the Clinton email scandal?”

Last month, United States District Judge Royce C. Lamberth ruled that discovery can begin in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers, and Clinton aides will now be deposed under oath. Senior officials — including Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, and FBI official E.W. Priestap — will now have to answer Judicial Watch’s written questions under oath. The court rejected the DOJ and State Department’s objections to Judicial Watch’s court-ordered discovery plan. (The court, in ordering a discovery plan last month, ruled that the Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”)

@CB

Lots of interesting information in the article. And links to others including this one.

New FBI release on Clinton email probe refers to 'Shadow Government'

A new trove of interview summaries and notes from the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails lays out a series of allegations that could prove fodder for future attacks on the Democratic presidential nominee.

The 100 pages, released Monday morning, include claims that Clinton "blatantly" disregarded protocol. Other claims include that a group of powerful State Department employees attempted to coordinate a document release, and that a department official asked for a "quid pro quo" related to the former secretary of state's emails.
....

One revelation in the documents came from an interview with an unidentified person who suggested that Freedom of Information Act requests related to Clinton went through a group sometimes called "the Shadow Government."

"There was a powerful group of very high-ranking STATE officials that some referred to as 'The 7th Floor Group' or 'The Shadow Government.' This group met every Wednesday afternoon to discuss the FOIA process, Congressional records, and everything CLINTON-related to FOIA/Congressional inquiries," the FBI's interview summary said.
.....

Another claim from the documents is that one unidentified interviewee said Undersecretary of State Patrick Kennedy pressured the FBI to unclassify certain emails from Clinton's private server that were previously deemed classified.

The interviewee said Kennedy contacted the FBI to ask for the change in classification in "exchange for a 'quid pro quo.'"

A representative for the State Department categorically denied that claim.
....

The FBI official subsequently told the senior State official that the email was appropriately classified at the Secret level and that the FBI would not change the classification of the email. The classification of the email was not changed, and it remains classified today.
....

Separately, one claim from the FBI documents that was receiving attention online was that one interviewee said there was a "stark difference" between Clinton's "obedience to security and diplomatic protocols" and that of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Clinton, the interviewee said, "blatantly" disregarded such protocols, including her frequent refusal to attend foreign diplomatic functions with the local ambassador.

"This frequently resulted in complaints by ambassadors who were insulted and embarrassed by this breach of protocol," the interview summary said, adding that the subject claimed that "Clinton's protocol breaches were well known throughout Diplomatic Security and were 'abundant.'"

There was more than one email that was marked classified and the IG report stated that her server had been hacked by a foreign country. People who were not qualified to read classified information had access to her server such as Sydney Bluementhol who Obama refused to allow him to work with her state department. He sent her lots of information about the situation in Libya and other countries.

People like to say that other people in government used a private email server too, but that's incorrect. They used private email addresses such as Google, Yahoo!'s and others mail servers. Still wrong, but no one was punished for it.

(replying to CB)

OMG. Now that is the presidential obstruction of justice that congress is looking for.

Anyone think that Obama didn't know what the state department was offering? Remember that he knew that she was using a private email server because he had received and sent emails to and from her.

The FBI let Cheryl Mills sit in on her interview with them even though Mills was caught up in the middle of the investigation. Comey gave her and many others on Hillary's staff immunity and then he never questioned them. This all came out in Huber's report which stated numerous examples of the FBI's huge coverup. Good for JW to stay on top of this.

But her emails is what people like to say when they talk about how badly Trump is screwing us. Like that was the only reason people didn't vote for her. And that we were sexist.

Russiagate Is Finished

Russiagate created a lot of damage.

The alleged Russian influence campaign that never happened was used to install censorship on social media. It was used to undermine the election of progressive Democrats. The weapon salesmen used it to push for more NATO aggression against Russia. Maria Butina, an innocent Russian woman interested in good relation with the United States, was held in solitary confinement (recommended) until she signed a paper which claims that she was involved in a conspiracy.

In a just world the people who for more then two years hyped the conspiracy theory and caused so much damage would be pushed out of their public positions. Unfortunately that is not going to happen. They will jump onto the next conspiracy train continue from there.

The Integrity Initiative, NewsGuard and the other companies that cropped up during this conspiracy will continue with their havoc, censorship and interference in alternative news websites and Facebook and Google will continue working with government agencies and shadowy think tanks regardless that this whole farce was cooked up by Hillary, Obama and the democrats to further their agendas with Russia and any country that they think are getting too big for their britches. Millions of Americans will continue thinking that Russia is our enemy and be just fine if the PTB want to go to war with them. The new mini nukes are rolling off the assembly lines and ready to be used.
