Sure, I dated Kamala Harris. So what?

Yes, we dated. It was more than 20 years ago. Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was Assembly speaker.

And I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco.

And the bestess is this

The difference is that Harris is the only one who, after I helped her, sent word that I would be indicted if I “so much as jaywalked” while she was D.A.

Is that any way to treat your lover? I think Iowa would think not. But that's probably just me,

Kalamity appears to be the Dem. establishment choice. The local rag reproduced an editorial from the SF Chronicle, extolling her super wonderfulness. Her parental heritage was referred to, but nothing about what she stood for/potential policies, etc. No mention of Mr. Brown, or his 'help'.

In just a few moments, I’m heading to the rally in my hometown of Oakland to formally kick off our campaign for president. I wanted to share some themes from the speech I’ll deliver today.

I can't wait to find out what these themes are!

We were raised by a community with a deep belief in the promise of our country

ok, we're getting there. Oh boy, this will be hard hitting stuff!

That’s why I’m running for president: I love our country, and I feel a deep sense of responsibility to stand up and fight for the best of who we are and what our country can be.
