Since this seems to have blown up in the last 24 hrs, and I'd seen this a day(or two) ago while spending sleepless nights with an ailing dog, it seemed fitting to post this with the info it contains; backstory, motivations, etc.

7 meters is the average depth

From what I've read, Russia was within legal rights to take action however if you listen to Haley they weren't. She also continued to claim Russia is occupying Crimea.
I really hadn't listened to her speak much at all, and watching the video makes me wonder how the hell anyone would support her for president. She's fucking delusional.

I was just reading an article about Greater Israel and

FWIW, I saw
some talking head talk about Woodward's book on Trump the other day.
He said that the book is not critical as painted by the MSM, but says that a lot of the staffers in the WH opposed much of Trump's agenda, including his position on non-intervention. A lot of the original staffers that are now gone did not support his agenda. And according to this 2nd hand account of the book, there are still some staffers who oppose his agenda.
I would think it would be difficult for Trump to find experienced staff that wasn't already supporting the usual policies supported by dems and repubs. Both sides oppose his trade policies and the notion of non-intervention.

The Band-aid Principle
My thesis "The Band-aid Principle" states that just as it's less painful to rip a band-aid off with one swift pull, so is it less painful that we peons end in a blinding flash of nuclear annihilation than to continue suffering the slow rip of police abuse, mass shooting rampages, terrorism, endless war, and climate change.
