I have an idea. I got it from my son who loves playing video games online with his friends. During the games they use Skype to coordinate attacks against their opponents. They talk to each other while playing the game against other unsuspecting players. Here's the idea. We have over 1000 members here and we need to leverage those members to make our voices be heard. We need to work together to seem bigger then we actually are. We also need to do Bernies dirty work for him. He's refusing to resort to negative attacks but I think we need to be his negative attack SuperPAC. I'm not talking about anything worse then what everyone has already written in posts here but were to radical for GOS. So here is the idea. Feel free to add to it. I'm not an expert at social media but I'll throw this out and see if it gains any traction.
I think the best way to get our message out to the most people is thru Twitter and if we coordinate the tweets and schedule the re-tweets amounst the group we could potentially make those tweets/hashtags trend. We have over 1000 people who if all re-tweeted or responded to a C99 tweet between a certain time frame would possibly trend that tweet. The tweets would contain all the info that has been discussed here . OPOL graphics, web links to damning article about Hillary, etc.... If everyone participated in this coordinated Twitter I think we could draw interest in this site and while also Bernie attack Hillary's positions and past performance. I'm not a Twitter expert but from what I read if C99 tweeted something at say a certain time every day and we all responded or re-tweeted the tweet it might just expand our reach. Any one can expand on this becasue I don't have enough experience wth social media, in fact, I just signed up today on Twitter for the first time. Any opinions on this?

I think we should work together to promote content when it's appropriate, but I don't think it would help Bernie if we specifically focused the site on attacking Hillary and promoting those attacks. Also, it'd get old and boring. She's just not that compelling.

I'll actually set up a twitter account for the first time myself if we come up with a plan. I just want to be careful on hillary attacks for several reasons and one being I want her supporters to see the light in a positive way. But I'm also completely sick of the lies and misinformation that goes unchecked so I want her to go down. And you're right, bernie can't. But I hope trump turns it up to 10 on her. All I can think of that I've learned today was that hillary requested a secure blackberry to check emails and was denied. So if she used her phone to check her only email account which held personal and government information. .....I'm betting she used her phone knowing that wasn't secured. I also believe that other content of her emails, outside of the classified stuff, such as that little gem today and the connection of the clinton foundation to companies, governments and her position as SoS (which fits in nicely to bernie's question of possible qpq) would be eye opening. But there isn't much of a thread to add to when no one has actually read the emails (it's a pain with the format in some, the amount, and the redacted parts) which is unfortunate because I see concerning stuff. I'll get out of the way and see what people familiar with the # stuff say and ask my brother for ideas. I talk too much. I really hope we can launch an.....I don't want to say attack but a play I guess.

However, I have no clue at this time how to actually use one. I also do not have any friends or family to contact so would need some help with to whom such tweets should be sent. I recently set up a FB acct but have done absolutely nothing with it so far (I needed it for access to some comment sections as I can rarely let misinformation stand without a rebuttal. = ) )

How about tweets that have a picture of Sanders saying something like: "I don't give a damn about her emails" or whatever those other quotes are about email and server that he says something about that is a legal issue not one for him to politicize. There might be some other subtle stuff..."I voted against the Iraq war."

I think the poster is looking for ideas, not just advocating a smear campaign on HRC (even if it was the first stated idea). The idea about the OPOL stuff is good and is the one many in this conversation are very comfortable with. is a good one. What many have said here--and if you look whose are the ones who find that part a good idea--want to send a positive message for Sanders. There are a lot of things that have been misconstrued about his policies and his record. This would be a good way to start setting the record straight. There can also be contrast twitters. The one I mentioned before is, I think, a good one: A picture of Sanders stating that he voted against the Iraq War. Another would be his votes against trade deals. You get the idea.

I'm totally on board, I'm happy to get going on the revolution, to use influence for our cause. I've reached out to another blog, essay, whatever it is. Hope we can all do this and not let this flop, there are so many we need to reach. We need something massive. Bring in your ideas of what the tweet content should be.

I do not think this site wants to be associated with HRC bashing. I know I don't want it to be because that is not what this site is about. If the intent is solely to bash HRC, there are plenty of Republican sites willing to help with that.
This site has made room for Sanders' people (and others) during this election season, but its purposes are much broader and much less partisan.

the states coming up include Arizona and Washington states. I will have to go look to see what others are coming up soon. One thing that would be good to promote is Sanders inclusion of Native Americans and Hispanics in his campaign along with his positions that effect those two groups. Climate change is also good and ties in well with the Native American groups.
If I get a chance I will try to do up some pictures to use, but everyone would be better served not waiting for me to get anything done. = )

I disagree with the third party run. First because Sanders has said emphatically that he would not. If he did, what happens to his honesty rating?
I would, however, encourage Sanders to do whatever is necessary to make sure he can be written in on general election ballots in the states that require his input. Otherwise, many of us will be disenfranchised.

to write a new essay--they are essays here-- to address how we can accomplish a Twitter force, the parameters and the positive messages that we want to get across along with the states that are coming up. I think this essay has some negativity in it that is drowning out the possibilities.
Finding people from the states that are coming up is a great idea as they will know what the voters in their states need to know and how best to reach out to them.
What would also be helpful is submissions of small, important parts of speeches (paraphrased or quoted), corrections to policies and record that have been misconstrued, and/or phrases that do not mention HRC but show the contrast in the issues (e.g., Iraq vote) that can be placed on a picture. Other good quotes to go with pictures of Sanders would come from notables such as FDR, etc.
For anyone who wants to do artwork, the pictures do not necessarily have to be of Sanders. They could be fouled rivers to go with a quote from Sanders or someone who reflects Sanders policies.
The other thing needed is the Twitter wordings. As I just created my account tonight, I do not have a lot of experience in writing short pieces--as is so obvious my 99% of my responses. = )

A couple thoughts on Twitter campaign
Everyone should get a separate twitter account just for this and the name used should not be associated or even remotely the same as the user name here or at DK.
Secondly, there are many twitter accounts already set up for Bernie already so maybe we should just piggyback on those. And get them to trend. @ArizonaforBernie would be a good one to concentrate on right now. The primary is March 22. There are only 67 followers there now , we could make it 1167 if everyone gets on board.

Just to give you some kind of answer for now....I haven't quite been banned yet but I had comments pulled yesterday for stating facts about hillary (just a link to a news paper article) that didn't make hillary sound like a sweet, innocent, flip flop free, criminal charge free, master leader. They don't like negative facts about her, they like to stick their heads up their asses. The deal there now is that bernie doesn't exist and we need to hug and kiss hillary, accept her as the nominee. There aren't supposed to be any talk about bernie but we still have some rebels over there for a reality check that it's not over and we still have support for berners. Until they ban every last one of us We won't give up, don't lower your head in defeat people, fight.

Sorry, I thought I was being helpful so you had an idea of what was going down at kos as for the ban on bernie and his supporters as well as any facts on hillary that markos doesn't like. Which likely had something to do with PE being banned. Sorry for being irritating and not being as helpful and clear as I thought I was.
