Blame it on the bullies?

In a surprise appearance Friday, Hillary Clinton delivered a commencement address to graduates of San Francisco's exclusive Hamlin School.

Once inside, Clinton spoke about her own experiences being bullied while growing up in suburban Chicago, as well as the need to be “courageous in a world dominated mainly by men,” graduate Alexa Tabibian told San Francisco's KGO-TV. The event was closed to the media

As Clinton recalled of her youth, in a YouTube video posted by the school: "As I would go out looking to play, the kids who were already there would circle around me, bully me, knock me to the ground, and I would get up and run crying into the house. This went on for weeks. It was a pattern of our lives."

She then described being forced to fight another girl.

"Accidentally, one of my arms touched the girl and she fell over, and so I was now part of the neighborhood -- and she became my best friend growing up."

That story is too damn funny!

I remember how being bullied works. I’ve told how I grew up in the North Omaha housing projects and went to a predominantly black grade school snd junior high after my Dad took off. Trust me, considering how few of us ‘paddy’s’ made up the school population we had to get tough or get an ass whipping every day. I didnt run and it took three good tussles on the street to make people leave me alone. My brother John didn’t have it so easy. My Mom almost went to jail because no matter what she did, he just wouldn’t go to school because he was getting ganged up on every single day. It all came to an end when she got committed to a tuberculosis sanitarium in Kearney, Nebraska and we all got put into homes and my younger brothers and sisters were adopted out because the court said she ‘abandoned’ us. (Turns out, she never had tuberculosis, she had Mycobacterium kansasii which is not contagious. It does mimic all the symptoms though,)

From personal experience I sincerely doubt ‘accidentally touching some girls arm would solve a bullying problem. She has no clue what ‘being bullied’ really means. Or the truth for that matter.

This woman is not right in the head. She ALWAYS has to be a ‘victim’. And of course she always perseveres.

I’d believe the “flying into Bosnia under sniper fire” whopper before this one. This one just cracks me up. That’s why I’m posting it. It’s my humorous OP of the week.
