4:15pm - Fixing to vote soon...

Did they mean 'Fixing to vote soon', or 'Fixing the vote soon'?

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

@thanatokephaloides I don't even want to regurgitate what they bickered about ... suffice it to say they didn't vote today.

In case anybody wants to know what was going on: there was supposed to be a vote on the DNC Unity Commission's recommendations to adjust the number of superdelegates in the Rules and Bylaws Subcommittee ... they bickered and bickered and couldn't even decide what to call superdelegates.

But when I left they had around six proposals they had thrown out there, including: leave it the alone, or reduce the number of supers, or increase the number of supers, or don't let superdelegates vote on the first ballot, and blends of those.

It was a nightmare. Donna Brazile talking about being shoved to "the back of the bus" and another lady talking about being the daughter of immigrants, etc, etc, etc. But it was basically rich folks talking about how they can pretend to be helping the citizens while in actuality they want to make sure their "vote" or endorsement can be successfully parlayed into the most money they can get. It was literally sickening.

Something that goes against the will of the voters and something that should be eliminated! There is no room for them if voting is ever to be considered fair elections.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

I notice no mention was made of abolishing superdelegates altogether!

Thank you again for doing this so we don't have to!
