SECRETLY TAPED AUDIO REVEALS DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP PRESSURING PROGRESSIVE TO LEAVE RACE

With Hoyer in Denver, Tillemann met the minority whip at the Hilton Denver Downtown to make the case that the party should stay neutral in the primary and that he had a more plausible path to victory than the same centrism that Coffman had already beaten repeatedly.

Hoyer, however, had his own message he wanted to convey: Tillemann should drop out.

And then there is ToP. Outage? Progressives rise up? Nah, it's making Sausage.

DCCC comes under fire - but we need some real talk about how sausage gets made

It is possible to be very critical of DCCC’s practices, methods, planning, operations, guidelines, approaches — I am all of those things. We can do that without seemingly concocting the idea that informing a candidate with $90k cash on hand that he is unlikely to win against a candidate with $900k cash on hand is an evil plot against a Democratic candidate. Tillemann could win — and I do not know either of these candidates; but if someone didn’t tell him at this point “this is going to be really uphill and you are going to face difficulties” then the party would also be party to malpractice by failing to tell him the truth.

You see that? It's all about the $. H>'s Billion did well, didn't it.

reckt list. 381 comments.

It only goes to show there are no Progressives left there. Loyal Corprocrats each and every one.

Give it a perusal, you won't be surprised.

And yes buried in there it is Bernies fault.

Please. Spare Us the Sanctimony

We know what the DCCC and the DSCC and the DNC are about.

So please, spare us the sanctimony.

The truth is, people read articles like those at The Intercept and they aren’t mad the party meddled, they are mad the party didn’t meddle in favor of their preferred candidate; if they had meddled in favor of their preferred candidate, then they would be fine. — www.dailykos.com/...

Bull. Shit.

I want the party orgs to stay the fuck out of the primaries.

I don’t want them putting a finger on the scale for anybody.

Please stop explaining to me what my true motivations are, and how I interpret news.

While we’re at it, spare us the cherry-picked straw-men.

It got more rec's than the Party insider. Whether you agree with Subir is another matter.

Most of them are here, and have been here since the Ides of March, 2016.

of a handful of people I know from ToP, have met him in person, have had a beer or two with him, and we used to have him as a weekly guest on our morning radio show. He leans more Left than most there, and is an all around straight shooter who knows his politics. I tend to agree with him on the sausage making, but what Stenny Hoyer did was more than sausage making. It's up to the Local party - Not the National party - to pull someone over and say, "look kid, you ain't got the chops Nor the $$ for this race, why not run for something more local?" That ain't up to Stenny, the DCCC, the DNC or any other Dim Insider. What Chris seems to miss, or not, is this bull$h!t is being played out on nearly every progressive candidate running for office. And, like I said in another thread, if "the party" is going to lean on progressives to quit races, progressives then need to run as an Indie or 3rd party candidate. One thing we should consider for 2020, as 2018 is too late, is forming our own 3rd party, American Freedom Party (or some such), and get our ducks in a row for 2020. Otherwise it looks like the CIA party will be taking over.
