Be there or be
missed terribly.

Would be great to see you again, friend.
Hope you guys have a wonderful time. How sweet of riverlover to mention her spare bedroom too!
Wish I could be there. I love Upstate.
My life at the moment is dealing with lots of changes, mainly the adjustment of staying at home with two infants and not getting enough sleep, exercise, etc. To give you an idea of where I'm at - there have been stretches of days when I haven't even got outside. That must and will change.
I know I've said it a few times, but we really must get something together again on the Eastern Seaboard or even NYC. Hopefully things will settle down again for me and I can try to help make that happen.
Best to you all!

THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED
FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD
WAS MUSIC"

My son moved to Binghamton
a month ago. It would be great - whenever I'm able to visit him - to get together with all of you, as Cortland looks to be near him - maybe 40 minutes or so. He and his wife went to Syracuse, one weekend, which is an hour from them.
Have fun, everyone!

well, if you're going
to be in Binghampton
give us a shout here on C-99
and we'll meet you in Cortland!

Sounds good!

And RA, I am in Ithaca, even closer to BGM
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Would love to come
But I gave up flying over flyover country. Too dangerous what with all them weapons down there. Heh Heh.
Seriously though, been thinkin' bout that essay by QMS back on 4/2/18 regarding "Contact Backup".
At the time I was reluctant to pass personal info over the net, even PM through C99%, as we really never know who is watching or monitoring even this little community of people.
The last meetup here in Portland, Or I raised the same issue about some kind of backup in case the net was shutdown for any reason.
What we (the four of us) decided was to give our info to one of the group to hold for emergency purposes.
I think this is a better option for all of us here nationwide. Those of you who showup at Cortland NY can exchange info and perhaps one of you can make the trip to another meetup on the east coast and collaborate.
I would be willing to travel to, say, Reno, Nev and meetup with representatives from L.A. and the Bay area. Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Boise, Idaho would be in range for a weekend trip to Reno.
I guess what I'm suggesting is organizing into districts or groupings for the sole purpose of staying in contact should we lose our only present source of communication, the internet.
And passing the info by hand, instead of online.
A central location on the east coast, as well as in mid country (Denver?), could serve the same purpose to keep a kind of loose network by phone or snailmail should the need arise.
Just throwing this out there for the entire C99% community to gnaw on and discuss.
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
yeah, I agree.
Is a good idea!
I'm thinking a MeetUp every 3 months in this neck of the woods, discounting winter.
Nobody up here needs that headache. But, Apr., July, October would work nicely.
Maybe Rottenchester (for western ny) and Utica would be two other spots up here.
We need an RL ground game as well as C-99 online spot to keep things moving Leftward.
Edit - Forgot to add Dylan Ratigan is in town again tonight, so I'm heading to that event, starting in about 90 mins. at 6:30 ET. Will take some video if I remember my phone. Friggin' snowing again today, but weather for Cortland is s'posed to be cold but dry.

Well, as usual, I forgot
my freakin' phone.
But, local TeeVee was there and the lady shooting video for the 11 o'clock news shot the back of my head (which made final cut). Prolly my best angle.
There are better candidates than Dylan Ratigan here, but they're all 29-ish. And, what you saw on M$LSD is what you get.
