A shady company that claims to "fix" elections around the world has been linked to the ЯUSSIAИ government -- er, wait a minute. It's actually the British government. For a little background on Cambridge Analytica (recently of Donald Trump election fame) and their shady dealings, here's an excerpt from a Channel 4 undercover report:

In an undercover investigation by Channel 4 News, the company’s [Cambridge Analytica] chief executive Alexander Nix said the British firm secretly campaigns in elections across the world. This includes operating through a web of shadowy front companies, or by using sub-contractors.

In one exchange, when asked about digging up material on political opponents, Mr Nix said they could “send some girls around to the candidate’s house”, adding that Ukrainian girls “are very beautiful, I find that works very well”.

In another he said: “We’ll offer a large amount of money to the candidate, to finance his campaign in exchange for land for instance, we’ll have the whole thing recorded, we’ll blank out the face of our guy and we post it on the Internet.”

Sounds nasty, right? Kind of Russianesque. But Cambridge Analytica is a British firm headed by a trio of British gents from the old boy's network that includes Eton: Alexander Nix, Mark Turnbull, and Dr. Alex Tayler. Also, just for fun, Steve Bannon of Donald Trump fame used to be a vice-president of the company.

Here's what Turnbull said about how they operate:

… we just put information into the bloodstream of the internet, and then, and then watch it grow, give it a little push every now and again… like a remote control. It has to happen without anyone thinking, ‘that’s propaganda’, because the moment you think ‘that’s propaganda’, the next question is, ‘who’s put that out?’.

As for the link to the British government, as you know, Theresa May is currently Prime Minister of Great Britain. She's a member of the Tory political party. The Tories began negotiations with Cambridge Analytica for campaign services in September 2016. According to a Daily Mail report in December 2016:

Theresa May wants to deploy an army of computerised ‘mind-readers’ to help her win the next Election, sources claim. Tory chiefs have been in talks with Cambridge Analytica, the polling data experts credited with playing a key role in Donald Trump’s presidential victory.

The British company, run by Old Etonian Alexander Nix, 40, uses computers to ‘mine’ huge amounts of data on voters – including Facebook likes, favourite foods, TV shows and even football clubs.

A party insider said: ‘The Tories have been in talks with these guys for about three months now and I understand they’re close to a deal.’

I suppose it's purely coincidental that Theresa May is creating a brouhaha over alleged ЯUSSIAИ nerve gassing of a former Russian double-agent just as the dirty facts about Cambridge Analytica are hitting the news. After all, she has nothing to hide, right? And really, Wag the Dog was just a movie, right?
