It had to happen: Ponzicoin
Some humor for the weekend. The whole e-currency Tulipmania has completely jumped the shark. Now there are sites satirizing the whole thing - and getting a handful of suckers to invest. Check out Ponzicoin. ROTFLMAO!
From their FAQ:
Q: This seems like a great investment opportunity! I need to get back all the money I lost in BitConnect, so can I put my entire pension fund/college fund/retirement savings/second home mortgage in?
A: No, this is a joke. Don't put any significant amount of money in this, follow /r/personalfinance's advice and please don't invest more than you can lose in crypto.
Q: This seems to be too good to be true, how am I getting screwed?
A: It's a literal pyramid scheme. You are fairly likely to be one of the last people to buy PonziCoins, so another 100 tokens probably will not be sold and the price may not ever double again, in which case you could lose up to 75% of your investment. There's also a chance the contract runs out of money or gets hacked in which case you could lose all of your investment.
Q: Is this coin pre-mined?
A: Yes, it's not a good crypto scam if it doesn't involve pre-mined coins. I have pre-mined 200 PonziCoins for testing purposes and also because I like money.
Ponzicoin is actually tracked on Coinbase, where its stats are:
Market Cap $84,234 USD 8 BTC
Volume (24h) $241 USD 0.02 BTC
Circulating Supply 861,099 PONZI
----
OTOH, I do remember an infamous court case in ?NJ? where people sued to prevent a multi-level marketing scheme from being shut down. Their argument was that they knew it was a Ponzi scheme, and they wanted to play. They argued that gambling was legal in NJ, so this MLM was not illegal.
Bottom line: you can't stop suckers from throwing away their money.

The valuations tell the story
A satire that states it is a Ponzi scheme and a scam is valued at close to $100,000, even though only $241 of actual "trades" happened in a day.
Looks like one should divide by 100 to get an honest value for e-currencies. OTOH, the FAANG that dominate the NYSE are also drastically overvalued, trading at P/E ratios in the stratosphere.
TPTB have managed to loot just about every store of value out there - running prices of stocks, bonds, housing, and now e-currency into the stratosphere. Pushing the little people into debt because basics like food, transportation, and rent have been driven up beyond their incomes. (Oh, the govt says there is no inflation, but we have to fight it by raising interest rates.)
It is really hard to keep one's sanity in such a crazy world, especially when the craziness is a foxy scheme to grab my assets.

One of the most important
Banksters in the world said “when it gets serious you have to lie” With that sentiment , the Bernanke/Yellen put and 20 trillion in Global Central Bank ky jelly. What’s not to like? We have reached a permanent high plateau and this time it is different. Heh!
acre feet of KY jelly
Thank you very much for the thought of 20 trillion dollars' worth of actual KY jelly!
According to KY's website, a 4 fluidounce container is $4.98. (For easier math, let's call it $5.) So $20 would buy 16 fluidounces. $20 trillion would, at the $5 rate, buy 16 trillion fluidounces. A gallon is 64 fluidounces. So our math now shows:
1.6E+13 / 6.4E+01 == 250 billion gallons
An acre-foot is approximately 325,853 gallons. At this rate, 250 billion gallons comes out to just a skosh over 767,217 acre feet.
While not Lake Superior, that's still a lot of lube!

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
