3rd PDX Meetup Scheduling Inquiry Thread.
So, it's been almost a year. Been busy myself, but doing pretty well.
The last 2 meetups were an absolute blast, so...
Time to schedule the 3rd PDX C99 Meetup.
I'll of course be attending. Last 2 have been at the "Lucky Lab" on Hawthorne, and I don't see any major reason to change the venue, since it's been always good. (There are some other spots in Portland I've learned NOT to go to, even if the theme is awesome.)
As of right now, the weekend of the 19th of August is the only open weekend for me, since I actually have a LIFE now. I can also do the 2nd of September or the 9th of September with no worries. It's when we get into the last part of the month I'll have trouble, but will do the best I can to accommodate everyone.
So, let's set a date, I'll arrange the scheduling, but at least this is a starting point.

I'm game.
I am in the Seattle area but willing to drive down. Any of those dates can work for me.

You guys are lucky. OR and WA State are progressive
states. Even the rural areas aren't bad--nothing like what exists here in Floridumb. You guys enjoy and scare up some good ideas for Elections 2018. Rec'd!!

Impact travel on 19th, a Saturday. It is something to think about since a million people are expected to come to Oregon for that event happening on Monday the 21st.
Everyone remember to get your eclipse lenses soon.
I might be able to make the 9th
Traffic slows down significantly after Labor Day. I would be coming over Mt Hood.
Still yourself, deep water can absorb many disturbances with minimal reaction.

Sounding so far that the 9th is looking like the best choice.
I'll still continue to check in, but I'm penciling that in right now.
If anybody else has any input on the time, chime in!
