New Info in Seth Rich Case Updated

Note: I am updating this to add an incredible article published by Caitlyn Johnstone just two hours ago. I will link it here and below where I have excerpted two paragraphs from it . I urge everyone to read her article.

I have been waiting to see if anyone else had seen this and done an essay on it because the Twitterverse is exploding with a huge new revelation in the Seth Rich case.

Kim Dotcom has come out with this shocker.

It was promptly followed by this tweet.

Sean Hannity, of all people, jumped on that tweet.

It was this tweet earlier today that seemed to make the Twitterverse explode.

Immediately followed by this tweet.

For those who may be confused about all this, HA Goodman does a very good analysis of it in this video that he made this afternoon.
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PENauWbAac]

If this all is true, then this is the bombshell that kills the Russia narrative that the Democratic party and the MSM have been pushing.

Update: Sunday May 21, 2017, 12:50 pm

Caitlyn Johnstone must be thinking in the same terms I was when I wrote this essay. She analyzes Kim Dotcom's tweets and writing dating back to 2014. While like the rest of us, she does not know what he may have for us on Tuesday, she lays out a potential scenario in which the evidence he has is irrefutable and cannot be ignored.

If however you are open to the possibility that your government is lying to you with the help of the mass media, it’s not hard to imagine how a man with a tech background who is frustrated with the manipulations of the Democratic establishment might seek out the help of a powerful, well-connected internet sage in figuring out how best to use the documents he had access to for shedding the light of truth on a profoundly corrupt organization.

She goes through much of what we have learned about Seth Rich and about Kim Dorcom's own fights against establishment authority leading to his own personal vendetta against Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the Democratic establishment. This leads to the nearly climatic paragraph in which Johnstone poses these questions.

What will happen if this all comes crashing down? If Kim Dotcom can show the world that Seth Rich was the one who leaked those documents? What will happen if the carpet is ripped out from underneath this massive house of cards that the American deep state has been blasting the public in the face with using its Washington pawns and the mass media?

Please read the rest of her article.

@WaterLily no I didn't miss Taibi's point when he wrote it either. What I expect of Bernie is to stand up and tell the truth, not just the parts that suit his agenda, which is to keep talking about oligarchy and then turning around to get them elected, no matter how corrupt they are, e.g. Clintons and Obamas.

Sorry if you think that is too much to ask, to show compassion for everyone, not just the failing middle-class and indebted millenials who are struggling. Perhaps you think his "anyone who works 40 hours a week should not live in poverty" spiel does covers everyone, I don't. Neither does Gallup, in fact they started saying a long time ago big employers don't hire full time employees anymore, so 30 hours is what describes a Good Job now. But Bernie keeps blathering 40 hours, why? He is competing with idiotic right-wing propaganda words, part of the rotten D system he still recruits for. Nope, no thanks.

Rather than give Berniecrats 25 a month why not try to build something real within proximity of where you are? Sending greenbacks down the DC money hole is the definition of insanity post-Citizens United. Please describe how the oligarchy will be overthrown by democratic elections, anywhere, not just the U.S.. Don't say "if enough people vote", unless you describe how much it will cost and who exactly is funding it. No more "Not the Billionaires" bullshit when that caucus goes running to Soros for instructions on how to "resist". Nope, no thanks.

peace

@WaterLily

Thanks for posting this. I think this bit following explains a lot.

Bernie knows what he's doing - that's how he achieved the impossible, as in the Community Hospitals and the improvements he managed to gain for Veteran Health care, which everyone thought was undoable. If he can't get some improvement for the vulnerable one way, he tries another. And if he can't get what he wants done, he gets some part of it done and works from there.

Taibbi described him (elsewhere) as a man who goes to bed at night worrying about heat for impoverished seniors. And I personally do not believe that the inner, life-long Bernie who's been fighting for the vulnerable since he was a schoolkid can be changed into your standard, corrupt politician, even if he has to go underground in some respects to continue working for the public good.

Inside the Horror Show That Is Congress

Warning: Should not be viewed by small children or anyone with a shred of idealism

By Matt Taibbi
August 25, 2005

... In the end, after just a few weeks, every one of Sanders' victories was transformed into a defeat. He had won three major amendments and would likely have won a fourth, if the Rules Committee had permitted a vote on his Patriot Act measure. In each case, Sanders proved that his positions held wide support – even among a population as timid and corrupt as the U.S. Congress. Yet even after passing his amendments by wide margins, he never really came close to converting popular will into law.

Sanders seems to take it strangely in stride. After a month of watching him and other members. I get the strong impression that even the idealists in Congress have learned to accept the body on its own terms. Congress isn't the steady assembly line of consensus policy ideas it's sold as, but a kind of permanent emergency in which a majority of members work day and night to burgle the national treasure and burn the Constitution. A largely castrated minority tries, Alamo-style, to slow them down – but in the end spends most of its time beating calculated retreats and making loose plans to fight another day.

Taken all together, the whole thing is an ingenious system for inhibiting progress and the popular will. The deck is stacked just enough to make sure that nothing ever changes. But just enough is left to chance to make sure that hope never completely dies out. And who knows, maybe it evolved that way for a reason.

"It's funny," Sanders says. "When I first came to Congress, I'd been mayor of Burlington, Vermont – a professional politician. And I didn't know any of this. I assumed that if you get majorities in both houses, you win. I figured, it's democracy, right?"

Well, that's what they call it, anyway.

@eyo And I'm done after this, I promise:

The current "unity tour" with Perez.
On the surface, it's utter B.S. But have you noticed what I've noticed? Suddenly, the very same Hillbots who cheered about single-payer "never, ever" happening are now on board.
Say what you might about the guy, but he does know what he's doing. I wish he hadn't decided to work within the system, but at least he's not capitulating on the issues he's always fought for.

Try it: imagine what you would do if you were in Rich’s shoes. If you loved America as much as the comments on his Reddit account prove he did and you became aware that its democratic process was being actively subverted from within. If you were just a mid-level staffer with little money and no power or influence, but access to information that could blow the whole thing open.

But for the grace of God, or the luck of the draw, it could have been me.

Starting to understand maybe I should be thankful that I was told to leave by the back.

that someone in the DNC had Rich killed.
All that is needed is proof that it was Rich who passed along the emails to Wikileaks.
Then the "Scary Russia" thing falls apart and everyone looks at the corruption in the DNC (while the DNC lawsuit comes to a head).
It would mean an EPIC political implosion.

But kernels of truth can turn up from things dismissed out of hand. Not saying this is anything, and I didn't have time to look at the backgrounds of the folks tweeting this accusations.

Just thought that it should be noted for posterity, that people are not only having this conversation but they're engaged and you never know where a piece of information can lead to.

This whole story is disturbing on so many levels. Mostly because it has seemed to go down the Memory Hole, with the MSM refusing to touch it.

Then there's all this: it's over 10 months ago, and the DC Police still have no suspects or leads, was deemed a "botched robbery" though nothing was taken, have impounded his computer and not released it, the Podesta brother's ex-wife and major Dem Insider/fundraiser is on the board of the local police dept, the new Rich family "spokesperson" is a "Democratic party crisis PR consultant with the Pastorum Group"?

@gjohnsit I am curious about one other thing people have suggested: that Rich knew something about the Clinton campaign substituting results from Hillary-friendly polling places for other polling places.

That would be a tolerably clever form of election fraud, if true.

It's one of the things--unlike the SEIU guys being murderers--that I find plausible enough that I'm waiting for more info.

I'm not sure why Podesta, or whoever, would bother hiring SEIU guys when he could just hire professional assassins.

I think I am beginning to see how the pieces of this are falling into place. That is IF, and it is a big IF, Kim Dotcom delivers. I found this video interview of Kim Dotcom which was done in May 2015. It is well worth the watch because the interviewer asks Kim about his relationship with Julian Assange.

I believe that Kim Dotcom is closer to Assange than he lets on and that he is doing the work of unmasking Seth Rich that Assange himself and Wikileaks cannot do. Remember, Wikileaks offered a reward in the killing of Seth Rich and Assange and Wikileaks have been retweeting on the latest news about Seth Rich. They have done everything but scream that Seth Rich was the source of the DNC leaks. I hope Dotcom comes through on this one.

Watch the vdeo of Dotcom's interview and see what you think.

Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." ~ President John F. Kennedy

@gulfgal98
Kim Dotcom does seem more genuine than I had imagined, but at the same time, he is what he is, a media phenomenon with legal problems.

I'm not trying to be devil's advocate, but I still have an aversion to jumping into a belief system based on desire, on my desire to nail the Deep State, so that I conflate partial truths with an imagined, hoped-for reality.

I feel that even if he knows Julian Assange, even if he talks with Assange however often, it doesn't mean his statement that he knows that Seth Rich is the Wikileaks leaker is verifiable or even true. He doesn't have the credibility that Assange has, in my book, and his reputation as a scofflaw makes the testimony he's offering to make to Congress extremely questionable. I question his story, and I'm a believer in the work of Assange. I can only imagine what Congress would make of his information. He's not credible, whereas Assange is.
