Poll: Public overwhelmingly believes in pro-Hillary bias

The news media isn't fooling anyone.

The American public thinks the media wants Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton to win by an almost 10-to-1 margin, according to a new poll.
The Suffolk University/USA Today poll released Friday asks, "Who do you think the media, including major newspapers and TV stations, would like to see elected president: Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump?"
Of the 1,000 adults surveyed, 75.9 percent answered Clinton, while just 7.9 percent picked Trump, the Republican nominee. Just more than 16 percent of respondents chose either "neither" or "undecided."
The Suffolk University/USA Today poll comes on the heels of an Associated Press/GkF poll last week showing that 56 percent of likely voters, including 87 percent of his supporters, believe the media is biased against Trump.
In that poll, 51 percent of Clinton supporters said the media is biased in her favor, while just 8 percent said it's biased against her.

Obviously the news media has thrown all pretense of unbiased reporting aside.
It isn't just opinion. There are hard numbers.

The Hill reported that in viewing recordings “of each major network’s evening newscasts, which are watched by an average total of 22 million to 24 million people nightly, the newest batch of WikiLeaks revelations was covered for a combined 57 seconds out of 66 minutes of total air time on ABC, NBC and CBS. … On the other hand, allegations from four women of unwanted sexual advances by Trump were covered a combined 23 minutes.”

And then there is coverage of Comey.

The Washington Post editorial board demonstrated perhaps the most stunning reversal. The July headline: “Republicans attack Mr. Comey for doing his job”. And following his announcement Friday: “The damage Comey’s bad timing could do”.
In July, The Huffington Post went so far as to levy blogging’s most overused trope, “dismantled” in a headline. “FBI Director Dismantles Most Damaging Claims Against Clinton,” followed by the ever-measured “Presidential Election Not Total Chaos.”
Now, The Huffington Post appears to be having a complete meltdown.

bias.png

And then there is the corruption.

The ongoing WikiLeaks dump of a top Hillary Clinton lieutenant’s emails is shining a light on the cozy and often improper relationship key members of the press had with the Democratic presidential nominee’s campaign.
Advance notice of debate questions, the promise of positive coverage, and even editorial control over stories are among the eyebrow-raising revelations in emails to and from campaign chairman John Podesta.
“We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed,” a January 2015 memo said of former Politico and current New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman.

Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.

Folks here seem to earnestly cite lots of sources that until recently were only mentioned as a joke: Breitbart, Newsmax, Daily Caller, O'Keefe, etc. Strange times!

You do realize that The Hill (which is the article sourced here) is partly owned by Markos, right?

The FBI just dumped the 2001 (William J.) Clinton Foundation-Marc Rich pardon files investigation documents per a FOIA request. And, you have three guesses as to who was running the DoJ investigation in that case (and, the first two guesses don't count).

All per Zero Hedge: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-01/fbi-unexpectedly-releases-docum...

William J. Clinton Foundation by zerohedge on Scribd

And, then, on top of all of this, here's the link to the Zero Hedge story on a Podesta email to Cheryl Mills telling/instructing her to dump (as in: "get rid of") all of Hillary's incriminating emails: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-01/podesta-mills-we-are-going-have...
(Just another Wikileaks' smoking gun. Nothing to see here. Move along!)

Last but not least, in response to your post, why do you think I was spending so much time republishing all of those FAIR.ORG posts over at Orange State this past Spring and early Summer. CNN's and NBC's staffers and lobbyists had been donating big bucks to the Clinton campaign almost from the outset of her campaign announcement, in April 2015!!!! The media's so f*cked-up in this country, it's light years beyond pathetic. The definition of the word, "journalism," either needs to be revised, or the majority of MSM journalists need to be fired, and media exec's need to start over!

The local rag is so in the tank for Clinton, it's ridiculous. Trump this, Russians that........... and now with the Comey pile-on.

Barely a word about Wikileaks and the content revealing the dirty deeds of Her Dubiousness, let alone an actual opinion.

But hey, that Putin pretty much controls the entire Federal Government, which deserves a sternly worded editorial.

In the 15th installment of released emails hacked from the Clinton campaign chair’s Gmail account, one email shows a top staffer’s intention of leaking a memo to CNN’s Dan Merica. This release joins dozens of other emails that have been hounding the Clinton campaign as Donald Trump continues to use each leak as proof that the media is biased and the election is rigged.

In June of 2015, Christina Reynolds, Clinton’s deputy communications director, sent an email to two top campaign officials with the subject line “Final memo.”

“Unless I hear otherwise, we’ll send to our friends and allies list at noon and Jesse will get it leaked to Dan Merica at CNN. We will then give it to anyone who asks,” she said.

Just a few days prior, Glenn Thrush, the chief political correspondent at Politico, showed up in a dump of more leaked emails pleading with John Podesta to not tell anyone about the information the two discussed.

“Because I have become a hack I will send you the whole section that pertains to you,” Thrush said. “Please don’t share or tell anyone I did this.”

Thrush emailed an excerpt from an article he was working on about the Clinton campaign’s fundraising numbers.

“No problems here,” Podesta replied.

The article titled “Hillary’s big-money dilemma” was published in May, 2015, featuring a contribution from Kenneth Vogel, who also sent an advanced copy of a story he wrote earlier this year to a DNC representative, according to the emails hacked from the DNC and released by WikiLeaks.

“Vogel gave me his story ahead of time before it goes to his editors as long as I didn’t share it,” Paustenbach wrote in an email to the DNC’s communications director. “Let me know if you see anything that’s missing and I’ll push back.”

The materials released by WikiLeaks have been haunting the Democratic Party’s public image since the moment Clinton clinched the nomination. The hacked DNC emails led to the abrupt resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz as the DNC chair just a few hours before her party’s convention.

Donna Brazile replaced Schultz as the interim chair of the DNC and has also been implicated by newly released emails. One email showed Brazile, who was a CNN political contributor at the time, sharing a question from an upcoming town hall event with a Clinton staffer with the subject line “From time to time I get the questions in advance.” This email was more evidence that some commentators at CNN were biased and did not want Bernie Sanders to become the Democratic nominee.

Pro-Clinton ladies seem to be everywhere. I can understand being anti-Trump and I can understand, though not agree with the lesser of evils tactic, but I feel the same way about those healing praise on Clinton about the same as I feel about the harbor Trumpistas or the 20 percent who still favored the Shrub at the end of his term.

Quite a few of my previously read blogging-heads are going to disappear from my browser history now that I've seen their brains of clay. Clinton derangement syndrome appears to be a bipolar disorder.

Law enforcement officials say that none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government. And even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump.

Hillary Clinton’s supporters, angry over what they regard as a lack of scrutiny of Mr. Trump by law enforcement officials, pushed for these investigations.

Most Americans polled also believe she is dishonest and untrustworthy.

So, they get that media is trying to push on them a dishonest candidate whom they can't trust, but they are planning to vote for her?

I submitted a guest opinion to the Tucson Weekly, encouraging all independents to not be suckered by LOTE voting -- but I haven't even had a response from the managing editor saying "no thanks." Just silence, additional endorsements, and letters to the editor that are so biased against Trump and for Clinton that it's embarrassing. No consideration at all of Stein or Johnson.

"She supports women and children" is the latest ad campaign we're seeing here in AZ and is part of the message the local rag is pushing. No one seems to remember Clinton's reaction to the Honduran child refugees (I don't remember the exact language but it was along the lines of "send them back to teach their parents that just because they get here doesn't mean they can stay") and no one seems to be noticing the number of women and children in Standing Rock and all over the world who are being harmed by her policies and her indifference.

Has got to be the most bogus claim ever.
Exactly what has she done that has helped them? The SCHIP was designed by Kennedy and someone else, right? She put her name on it.
What did she do in congress that has helped them? Nothing I recall.
But we do remember all the bills that she helped Bill get passed that hurt a lot of them in this country and from her warmongering in the Middle East there are a lot of them dead now or had to flee their country and are basically living in prison camps.
The families fleeing Mosul are separated because the men and teenage boys could be ISIL pasties.
That is if they can get out of Mosul without being blown up by land minds.
The refugee camps are in deplorable conditions and I haven't heard Hillary speak about the refugees that she caused.
And more Syrian women and children are going to be put in danger if she creates the no fly zone. She admitted it during one of the speeches she gave to where Blankenfein works.
Then there's her silence for the women in Saudi Arabia and other countries.
I have asked her supporters to tell me exactly what she has done for them but they don't answer .
