I remember an old ad commercial in Germany about Haribo Gummibaerchen. What's wrong with Gummy Bears? You can't eat them by the pound but by the piece. And actually they are not that great.
Well, even the world of Gummy Bears has gone crazy.
Or you may just boycott those Gummy Bears, because according to Haribo Wikipedia:

That's bullshit.

Andy and I were full-time RVers for nearly seven years. The black tank (sewage tank) has a valve that must be turned and then pulled to open; it's really not possible for it to open accidentally. If the tank were full the contents could not force its way past the valve. There is only one place for an overflowing tank to go, and that is back up through the toilet.

(This is also why those urban legends about people trying to siphon gas out from a sewer line by mouth are bullshit. It's a four-inch pipe with at least one valve, sometimes two.)

I'm sure that a charter bus company is well aware of the regulations about where they can empty the holding tank, I'm not sure that it was an HONEST MISTAKE. But they are sorry for what they MAY HAVE caused ???? Caused what? Contaminating the Lawrence community's water system?

How does one "mistakenly" empty a sewage tank?

They didn't say "accidentally", which would imply it happened without deliberation; but rather said it was an "honest mistake", meaning that they did it deliberately, without realizing they were doing anything wrong.

Or maybe they honestly thought they were doing something else, not emptying the sewage tank over a storm drain, and somehow the tank got emptied? Oops. "We thought it was the luggage compartment we were opening. Yeah, that's it. That's the ticket."

They "weren't aware of possible violations"? So they thought it was OK to crap all over public property and didn't think doing so would be a violation of anything: laws, public health regulations, or simple human decency.

In reality, they didn't think that. They weren't thinking anything at all, in fact, except about their own needs. No consideration of anybody or anything except themselves. Nothing new there.

The more I observe the Dem establishment, the Hillary campaign, and the 1% in general, the more I see them as little children playing at being adults. It is really quite amazing that they've managed to get as far as they have.
