I lol'd when he got her pissed. I lol'd when he did a full on moran machine about foreign policy
That said, Killary looked healthy. Her hair looked awesome, and it looks like she fired her General Mao stylist, because she looked sharp and professional!
Still not voting for her, but she did well on foreign, and her overall look/professional impression was notable for this ani Killary viewer
They look very unprofessional and unattractive to me. Is there something I'm missing there? I am missing out on the latest professional trend or something?
It's possible, I am certainly no fashion maven, and work at home so rarely see office attire any more.

I've been trying to find out what it is...an Asian type tunic? (If so, needs solid black narrow pants with it.) Or is it a housecoat? (Then the blue plaid paints are PJ's?)
Now that Huma is back, I hope Hillary will be looking more fashionable.
Came in late, around the time Trump was threatening to send Hillary to prison. For her part, Hillary said Putin was trying to rig the election for Trump. Not a good night for the reality-based community.
We finally got a climate change question. Trump trotted out the myth of "clean coal." Hillary lauded fracking for making the USA energy independent, and then cited oil & gas as "a bridge to more renewable fuels."

"We've done the impossible, and that makes us mighty."
Trump: "you delete 33,000 e-mails and then acid watch(sic) them or bleach them. A very expensive process,"
It appears as though he heard the (free, open source) software name "bleach bit" and thought it was a physical process of removing the ink from printed emails, like an acid wash. Which would be very expensive, yuck yuck.
It reminds me of a discussion I read about Rumsfeld's famous "known unknown" speech. Someone who is bad at Scrabble has no earthly idea how bad they are, they are completely ignorant of the better moves they've missed. That's like Trump seeing the world. He has no earthly idea what's really going on out there.

wash it" ... your explanation makes it really beyond pale. How would you ever accept such an idiot ignorantissimo as President?
It's amazing how illiterate both are about technology. They both must have very bad advisors, if they even can't get the basics explained to them in a way that they can act upon that knowledge and speak a little bit more carefully to not show how little control they have intellectually over the technology they both are using.
At least I think it was via my Tivo, possibly my local PBS? My son wanted to watch the debate so I set it up to record. I sat down with him to watch a bit and cued it up on the Tivo, fast forwarded through the intro B.S. and paused it as we grabbed a last minute snack. Then I looked at the paused image on the screen and busted out laughing, couldn't believe my eyes. Am not sure exactly who was messing with the broadcast, but whenever I paused play the following captions popped up on the screen that were movie references and satiric commentary on this election:
First The reference from "Idiocracy" (a favorite of mine):
Then "The Hunger Games" reference:
Then my favorite from "Dr. Strangelove":
And finally from "Election"
I don't know how much notice this got anywhere and am still not sure if it was via Tivo or my local PBS station, but it was certainly an apt protest of the two fuckhead, asshats we have as presidential candidates.
Am gonna vote for Stein myself, even though I think the entire system is broken and not worth participating in - not sure America as we want to believe in it actually exists anymore.
Audience questions do not work well during a debate, too many questions and too little time allotted.
Is she getting coached to laugh before any rebuttals? That got tiresome. Someone has obviously told her that smiling makes her appear more approachable. It does not work for me, although I know I have a strong anti-Hillary bias. Contrasted with Trump who remained controlled for much of what I saw and kept a serious face. The controlled voice I find scary.

Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
appreciate the opportunity to catch up without actually having to watch more than a snippet. Guess I'll try to go to bed now (after sleeping all evening now I'm pretty much wide awake!).

He kept trying to hit Hellery on her scandals but only came up with vague, incoherent sound bytes that missed the bullseye. Either he is not well versed/preped on her scandals or he is too much of a scatter brain to close the deal. Probably both.
IMO I still think the moderators stacked the deck against Trump by avoiding Hellery's most damning negatives. But what do I care. There are both hideous.

I watched Yahoo news
I watched Yahoo news streaming. Their post debate analysis is fairly neutral.

Jeebus. They both should be disqualified for those answers.
Maybe I should write a diary about where we are on renewables.

oh my, and I wondered what he meant by "bleach it" and "acid

Tivo (?) mocks the election - hilarious!

It was pretty funny.

There was playoff baseball
There was playoff baseball and the Giants-Packers game on last night. Who needed a debate?
Trump came off like a Raving Lunatic
which of course he is one but...
He kept trying to hit Hellery on her scandals but only came up with vague, incoherent sound bytes that missed the bullseye. Either he is not well versed/preped on her scandals or he is too much of a scatter brain to close the deal. Probably both.
