International Election Fraud Cavalry Is Coming to U.S.

Ok, maybe it's not quite a whole cavalry, but folks ARE coming (if a bit too late for what transpired in the spring):

From The Hill

Election observers to monitor US voting amid warnings from Trump

The 57-country Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) said that it is launching a mission looking at Election Day, following an invitation from Washington.

snip

This week, a team of 12 OSCE experts began work on the U.S. review in Washington. The organization, which observes elections around the globe, will send 26 observers throughout the country over the next month to see if elections live up to international standards. In the days before Election Day, the OSCE is hoping to send an additional 400 short-term observers to monitor events.

The monitors will follow campaigns, election offices and the government up to and on Election Day.

They'll release an initial report on November 9th and a full report two months after that.

The Hill obviously does not take rigged elections seriously, their linking to the following article says to me they feel Trump is crying wolf:

Top spy suggests Russia trying to sow doubt in US elections

Not holding my breath for OSCE to find anything, but if they do, maybe there's hope for getting our country back at some point.

EDIT: Thank you for the word assistance for the title. One really can teach an old girl a new trick. Wink

Demospeak:

Old Times: Reds = USSR (for the older voters)
New Times: Reds = Republicans (for whomever is scared of the big bad wolf)

The Reds working for and against her reminds me of tug of war. Do I hear someone calling for more mud?

Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.

I'm sorry, but I am just compelled to point this out.

If you don't know what you want, you deserve what you get.

Cognate to Italian Cavallo and Spanish Caballo not the mention French Cheval.

I've read that although the proper Latin is Equus, Legionary slang was Cavallus meaning roughly "nag". it seems the common people had more contact with the Legions than upper class orators.

Pet peeve of mine, too.

I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.

We may have been deluding ourselves for years/generations. Seems to me some of the stories from our past did include bribery and bought votes...

When do we get to acknowledge the REAL American history, I wonder.

There has always been some kind of skulduggery going about the election process. Except for Mayor Daly and the crew at Tammany Hall -- those people were saints.

I have never understood people that seek power. And will do anything to get it.

But what will they do when they realize they're looking not at water lines, but sewer lines?

If they're 'invited from Washington', how far can they be trusted not to cover up for Clinton/TPTB and to blame any signs of hacking on the 'RUSSIA!!!' scapegoat, even when it benefits the Clinton campaign? Or not to falsely claim 'RUSSIAN HACKING!!!' if there's no hacking and Clinton loses?

Should be independent citizen-videoed oversight every step of the way as well... if that's unwelcome, then we know.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
