Many years ago, while screaming at the TeeVee during one of Dubyah's State of the Union™ speeches, I noticed the dog had disappeared. I stopped screaming and found him cowering behind the couch. That dog is long gone, but I'd scare his successor even worse were I to watch any of this year's debates.
has a very good chance of running the country. Kaine if Clinton wins and her health fails, Pence because Trump won't do a damned thing besides stand in front of the cameras and brought Pence on board to be "ghost President". So I suppose this VP debate matters more than most.

I peeked in on the livestream. Kaine interrupts constantly and seems smug. They're talking Russia, as if any voter really cares. They're both making decent points but I don't know who has the facts and who is just making it up as he goes. Gack.

I thought Kaine was less together than Pence. But both are scary.

Good for Ajamu, sticking up for the moderator! I didn't go back to look after the little clip I saw, but I noticed that too.
I don't like it when they interrupt each other unless one is over their time limit. I want to know where both stand on the issues. I think my mind is made up, but it's possible one of them could change my mind. Much less likely if they're going to talk at the same time so they're both incomprehensible.

Both Kaine and Pence were good debaters and did their job; however, Kaine interrupted too much. Pence appeared calm to me and not as high-strung as Kaine, who smirked sometimes. I'm sure Kaine took orders from Hillary to really come on strong. I think that was a mistake, but Hillary did the same thing to Bernie Sanders during their debates. CNN's poll: Pence 48% Kaine 42%
I am just watching a Bananaquit debating with a Lesser Antillean Bullfinch over the proper use of bread crumbs. The Anole lizard is the moderator. Both birds agreed, "Whatever is best for the babies." "We want more breadcrumbs!"
Bananaquits like bananas more than breadcrumbs and are more secretive than the Bullfinch. They disagreed on the economy. Bullfinch thinks a bakery would be the way to go. Bananaquit prefers a banana plantation economy.
The bullfinches are people birds, like cattle egrets are cattle birds. Bullfinch thinks transparency would solve the problem and Bananaquit prefers a heavier tree branch quota near my work table.
For now it looks like the Bullfinch won the debate... His cinammon colored cumberbund was more effective than Bananaquits yellow chest suit.
