Documents Reveal that in Early August 2013, State had 17 Freedom of Information Requests relating to requests for Clinton correspondence
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released 113 pages of new State Department documents, revealing that in early August 2013, top State Department officials raised questions about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails and the number of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests seeking information about them.
According to the newly obtained emails, in August 2013, State Department officials were aware of 17 FOIA requests relating to requests for Clinton correspondence, including four that “specifically mention Emails or Email accounts.” Despite the large number of FOIA requests and growing concern among top agency officials, the State Department did not formally request that the former secretary of state produce the emails on the clintonemail.com server until October 2014.
Included among the 17 FOIA requests was a Judicial Watch lawsuit seeking records pertaining to possible conflicts of interest between the actions taken by Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State and Bill Clinton’s activities. The lawsuit produced 276 pages of internal State Department records revealing that within two days of the deadly terrorist attack on Benghazi, Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf, the president of Libya’s National Congress, asked to participate in a Clinton Global Initiative function and “meet President Clinton.” The records also show Hillary Clinton’s staff coordinated with the Clinton Foundation’s staff to have her thank Clinton Global Initiative project sponsors for their “commitments” during a Foundation speech on September 25, 2009. The lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Dept. of State (No. 1:13-cv-00772)) was filed on May 28, 2013.

If you read the JW press release at the first link --
-- you'll see that the whole document offers several points to demonstrate that as early as August 2013 high-level officials at State were aware that emails accounts existed for HRC. However, State (and by extension) the Obama Administration stonewalled on the existence of those accounts for 2-3 years.

On 8 May 1984, el-Magariaf directed commandos from the National Front for the Salvation of Libya led by Ahmed Ibrahim Ihwas in an attempt to assassinate Muammar Gaddafi, via an attack on Gaddafi's headquarters. Mainstream political career

This latest JW release contradicts testimony given by some
at the emailgate depositions wherein some of the deponents said that nobody was aware of unrecoverable emails because they didn't know about HRC's private server/email address. Evidently Margret Garfield was not given access to the FOIA-sequestered Hillary Horde. This should make the upcoming JW deposition of John Bentel very interesting--remember, he's the guy that told other staters to "strip the classification markings from emails sent/received by Hiding Hillary.
Where I get lost in all this is if they lie, or have lied, how
does the Clinton cabal plan to get away with it, what with all the subpoenas and hearings going on? The right hates her and they're going to keep it up until they've unearthed every last email or lie of family secret.

Hasn't this corruption been ongoing, with the Clintons escaping any real consequences for their actions all along? In fact, the Hillbots and corporate media often seem to admire Hillary's evasiveness and lying as being Presidential. When they aren't ignoring or denying it, of course.
That's another thing: Hillary seems to have borrowed power as the servant of the corporate/billionaire powerful and, as such, burrowing beneath their mantle. She's not even a leader in evil, as far as I can tell, just a hireling - but my best guess is that TPTB find her useful enough to exert pressure enough that she and Bill continued to be somehow considered relevant as politicians even when neither were in public office, something which struck me as more than a little odd some time ago. From what I've seen, pretty much all of the vast sweep of evil she and Bill have committed or schemed toward seems to have been to suit those with enough money to purchase their services - in amounts which it seems the American public can't supply. Not even when she was purportedly working for the public as Secretary of State and behaving, at best, grossly irresponsibly while in a highly responsible position, while not being held responsible for ANY of her behaviour at any point by anyone charged with doing so. Going by the known facts, there must have been orders out at all higher levels, including Obama, about this. (Although alternate theories/solid facts are certainly welcome, since I may well be talking through my hat.)

Chuck Grassley also had some concerns about the legality of
Hillary and the state department's close ties with the Clinton foundation with a lot of organizations that had business with her state department and Bill getting paid to give a speech to the same governments, organizations and financial institutions before the state department intervened on their behalf.
I don't remember which bank it was that the state department and the White House was investigating the people who had used the bank to hide their money. They were being asked to turn over a thousand or more people's names to the government, but after Hillary intervened the number of names to be turned over went way down.
And of course Bill got paid for a speech and after Hillary intervened the bank donated millions to her foundation.
If that isn't the definition of pay to play, I don't know what is.
And this type of activity went on for the 4 years that she was SOS.
I'm hoping that JW will find the smoking gun that finally shows that the foundation is a smoke screen for rich people to get access to governments because of Bill's reputation or power in order to get contracts.
Huma Abedin's depositions have given them a lot of information about the email server, who had access to it and why and roads are leading to the foundation.
But why didn't Grassley follow up on his concerns ?

Then reporters James V. Grimaldi and Rebecca Ballhaus lay out how UBS helped the Clintons. “Total donations by UBS to the Clinton Foundation grew from less than $60,000 through 2008 to a cumulative total of about $600,000 by the end of 2014, according to the foundation and the bank,” they report. “The bank also joined the Clinton Foundation to launch entrepreneurship and inner-city loan programs, through which it lent $32 million. And it paid former president Bill Clinton $1.5 million to participate in a series of question-and-answer sessions with UBS Wealth Management Chief Executive Bob McCann, making UBS his biggest single corporate source of speech income disclosed since he left the White House.”
The article adds that “there is no evidence of any link between Mrs. Clinton’s involvement in the case and the bank’s donations to the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, or its hiring of Mr. Clinton.” Maybe it’s all a mere coincidence, and when UBS agreed to pay Bill Clinton $1.5 million the relevant decision-maker wasn’t even aware of the vast sum his wife may have saved the bank or the power that she will potentially wield after the 2016 presidential election.
