I'm not looking for praise. I'm not looking for thumbs up.

I'm looking for you to pony up.

I'm doing $5 per month. Hey, many of you spend more on a single cup of coffee at Starbucks (it is coffee isn't it?)

I spent a long time on ToP and never felt compelled nor inclined to subscribe.

This site is different. It needs our written contributions and $$ to keep it going.

We're here for a reason. Lets help JTC keep it going.

Not the best day here, but I just discovered dog training is not until Wednesday, and I wanted to use that as sideways punishment for eating my Kindle. The humanity!

donating $10 per month. Like so many other things, like climate change, I'm not waiting around for government or the 4th estate to get their act together. We need to support citizen and independent media wherever and however possible so there will always be a path for the truth to come out. I also give $10 per month each to FreeSpeechTV and the PCCC. It certainly has become more affordable to me now that I no longer support any Democrat in my state. They all be pro TPP corporate turds.

and to do it by check, inside a little card, with a nice note, written ...in cursive.
I sent a card with puppies and friends theme, because, hey! What is JtC if not a great friend?
I am already digging through my pile of cards, most likely the next one will feature a bird, or panda, or whale.
And as JtC cashes that check, I hope he can show the card to a child...or his wife, or mom, to let them know the time he devotes to this OUTSTANDING site, dedicated to DEMOCRACY, is important, appreciated, and, well, dammit, LOVED.

I don't patronize Starbucks as I can't afford them. I rarely eat out unless the family is with me. I have little discretionary income due to having to support four unemployed relatives (although two have prospects for becoming employed again soon).

I DO contribute when I can.

I doubt I'm alone in this "Booming Obama Economy".
