Clinton calls GOP attacks on her health 'wacky strategy'
Monday's appearance is Clinton's third appearance with Kimmel, making the Los Angeles-based show the most visited late night show. The former secretary of state visited the show for the first time as a candidate in November and once again in March.
Making light of the questions, Clinton asked Kimmel to take her pulse to show she's in good health -- "Oh my god, there is nothing there," the host joked -- and Kimmel asked Clinton to open a can of pickles to prove her strength, which the former secretary of state did.
Clinton went on to dismiss the false claims by saying that Republicans are taking the campaign "into an alternative universe."
"I am out here talking about [issues] and then I have to step into the alternative reality and answer questions about am I alive, how much longer I will be alive and the like," Clinton said to laughs.

As for the msm. They need to fill 24 hours worth of "news". Not enough news, so it gets filled with "opinionated comedian smooth trash". I long for the days, when a broadcaster shut down at midnight and went dark til everybody got up in the morning ready to go to work.
How about CNN and MSNBC and ABC and NBC just would quit broadcasting at 1 am at night and restart at 5 am in the morning. That would give any sleep-deprived "news producer" a break and the viewers just could get at least some hours of night sleep without worrying to have "missed something".
I think it's degrading for Hillary Clinton to have to go to some idiotic "comedy" shows and make the best out of these shitters, who can't stop trashing her candidacy for health reasons. I am confused. Many folks, at least that's how I believed, wanted a rescue site here, fleeing from TOP, which accused some folks here in the past of either being extreme, radical left-wingers, or of being right-wing racialists or whatever name they put on it. May be I got it all of it wrong.
The initial group of people who made plans to design this site (be aware that I do not have a clue if what I am saying is right or not) I thought were from the left social democratic corner or of socialist persuasions. They also, I believe, wanted to creat a site that is as open minded as possible, to allow dissenting voices to be heard. So, there are many different voices here. As an ESL person I have sometimes difficulties to understand sometimes, where someone is coming from. People can hide their motives sometimes in way that I can't recognize them.
I am not per se against discussion the health records of HRC, but as the right-wingers and Trump fans are already using the issue to trash HRC, I simply don't like to give them an opening to allow this site to be trashed as right-wing for the same reasons. I heard some have already done that. So, I am concerned about it.

I can't stop thinking about what folks outside of the US think of the US theatrical performance it enforces upon their candidates. Of course nobody gives a damn. I know. Step One: leak faked medical reports of candidate, which contains actual, legitimate medical information. Leak fakes in such a way that they immediately look like fakes from any discerning eye--except to those who are recipients of outsourced medical transcription output, who know "yeah, it could look like that...but you really can't identify its source, regardless" because actual identifiers don't tend to get marked on every single page output of this kind.
Step Two: Leak said reports only to "right wing" and "new alternate news" websites.
Step Three: have "mainstream sources" pick up the report, "report" on it, and then "debunk it" because Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy Against Hillary!
Step Four: have the person who supposedly didn't Take Proper Steps to Keep the Information Safe step up to the Mainstream Press, announcing that They Never Said That and These Weren't Their Report Output
Step Five: verbally reiterate "argument" or "proof" that's over a year old for Mainstream Press, which dutifully repeats that verbatim and does nothing to actually verify it.
Let Simmer for The Weekend News Cycles.
Step Six: have candidate show up on Monday late-night talk show to poke fun at the "Conspiracy Theories" about her health.

I don't watch talk TV, skipped the video. I think attacking a candidate for their health is cowardly. Imagine if it were FDR, the press and the public obsessing endlessly on the possible horrors of a polio victim becoming leader of the free world. Would Kimmel have him "walk from here to there" or something to "prove" he was "competent"? It was chicken-shit then and it is now, in my opinion. A waste of time and energy. There are many many reasons to not vote for Clinton, harping on her health seems like just another distraction.
If the hours of gossip and speculation were spent building the coalitions needed to attain power that would be something, but instead media diverts people's attention from homelessness, hunger, poverty, criminal justice, lack of living wages, climate change, Wall Street corruption, mercenary wars, nuclear madness, unfair trade, etc.. No one is talking much about how to build solutions for the 99%, but gosh we have the best health expert quoting system in world.

It's whether she still has, or will keep, all her marbles. We've already suffered through one Presidency when the President was increasingly "not there" mentally, and the idea of enduring another is...disquieting.
More important, perhaps, is that her handling of the "health question" shows the same old pattern: deny deny deny, evade evade evade, obfuscate obfuscate obfuscate, and lie lie lie. She is a Lying Liar who Lies, she corrupts other people into lying for her, she is utterly untrustworthy and rotten to the core. And the more she denies, evades, obfuscates, lies, and corrupts, the more people think there's some "there" there (even if there really isn't).
