While Chief of Staff at State, Cheryl Mills Also Had Multiple Jobs - RNC submits FOIA to learn more

Fair warning: THIS COMES FROM NEWSMAX dated June 26th (edit: 6/26/15)

RNC Seeks State Dept. Docs About Hillary's Chief of Staff

The RNC has submitted a request about Cheryl Mills similar to the one Judicial Watch made about Huma Abedin and her multiple gigs. Yet again, this is a follow-up FOIA, this time piggy-backing on an earlier request by ProPublica:

The RNC request stems from news that Mills had a special arrangement in 2009 that enabled her to continue to hold outside positions with the William J. Clinton Foundation, New York University, and as a board member for the school's UAE-funded Abu Dhabi campus. (On this last point, according to Assange in the interview posted in the essay on Wikileaks says that Saudi Arabia is the largest donor to the Clinton Foundation.)

At issue, for the RNC, is why Mills then was not included on a list of all special government employees for the year 2009, released by State last year in response to a FOIA request from ProPublica. She was included in a list for the year 2013.

Clinton's campaign had no immediate comment on the FOIA request.

“The fact that Secretary Clinton’s top State Department aide was allowed to receive outside income while serving as her Chief of Staff, and failed to disclose it is troubling," says RNC Research Director and Deputy Communications Director Raj Shah. "Now we are seeking to determine Mills’ and Clinton’s roles in covering it up."

There is no justice. There can be no peace.

I trust the National Enquirer more. At least they accurately covered the anthrax attacks years ago. Newsmax wants to be FOX when it grows up - which it never will.

And I've used some questionable websites to on this issue, but it is obvious that the msm isn't going to cover any of these types of topics when it comes to the Clinton foundation, the employees and the pay to play crap they did.

There were problems with running a campaign of Joy while committing a genocide? Who could have guessed?

Harris is unburdened of speaking going forward.

If you see another post of mine today, they got Fernando who was a Clinton appointee at State off a committee he had no qualifications for other than, ahem, being a donor to all things Clinton. ABC submitted a question to State and the guy was removed just as mysteriously as he was appointed. KUDOS to ABC for committing acts of journalism!

He probably was supported by FOX or Universal, so they aimed a spotlight on him.

Except National Enquirer is where we go to learn about alien invasions, as we learned in Men in Black.

Same theory goes here, it seems - this is where we find sightings of the stuff we're not supposed to see. Proceed with caution, distrust but verify and all, but if you wanna know what's going on, this is where one finds the clues. You'll find that I pretty regularly sigh and groan that this is how one does research at present. To get to the bottom of this crap, we've all gotta wade through some thick cognitive dissonance, it seems. Or we can wait days, weeks, months or more for NYT to cover this material in a way which may feel and taste more comfortable.

Last week: "OMG! Hillary's seeking Kissinger endorsement! How could this be!?"

Or we can wait days, weeks, months or more for NYT to cover this material in a way which may feel and taste more comfortable.

Like how some MSM commentary is starting to admit that the Democratic party has become the Republican party.

Or how for 10 months, Bernie supporters KNEW that the DNC was giving the nomination to HRC (it didn't take a friggin genius to see that it was happening yet MSM ignored it) and we were called paranoid. Without wikileaks, we would still be dismissed as tin foil hatters.

Too late, a$$holes! Her royal highness will be coronated because you (cough) journalists didn't do your friggin job!

Excellent example of burying the subject by questioning the source without ever disputing the truth or falseness of the report itself. Well, let's see what you can do with the actual FOIA Request. Is it worse than or better than the National Enquirer? See: FOIA Request

2015.

I don't know how relevant that may be, aside from the obvious fact that State is trying to stall on this one, too.

The issue was initially raised in 2015. The NewsMax article is from 2015. The RNC letter was sent in 2015. Did you have a point?

I tend to go offline on the weekends to try and maintain some semblance of balance and sanity.

My point wasn't to BAA. I was only trying to better understand the context, and whether State was stalling on yet another request.

Didn't mean to jump on you. Yes, State is stalling on everything under the sun. Although to be fair, they'd probably do that for any SoS, not just Clinton.

My eyes have recently gone middle aged.

Haven't heard the GOP use a talking point out of this information, so not sure if they got what they were looking for.

Interesting that Judicial Watch has pushed for Huma info, but I'm not sure they've pushed Cheryl info for themselves...

The 'news' sites push related articles with dates from whenever, that's how I found this one.

I'm trying monovision contacts right now and they've worked well for about a year ... but appear to be backsliding a bit now.

Thank you for all of your well researched and argued essays!

. . . did you not state that you watch FOX for news because MSDNC wasn't doing anything but denigrating Drumpf?

Nice deflection yourself, Dude!

The "Trump is worse than Hitler" crap is growing really old. I hate that I have to go to Fox or other rightwing sites to get any real news nowadays. The liberal media outlets have gone full-on "Must. Attack. Trump." 24x7.

Your comment is an excellent example of deflection. Rather than respond to the heart of my criticism, you deflected by referring to a comment I made a couple of days ago. That's classic deflection -- changing the subject instead of engaging in reasonable debate. It's interesting that you fail to recognize your own behavior for what it is. Perhaps self-reflection is not in your nature.

is why it is even allowed for a person working in the State Department to be working for anyone else. I've never worked anywhere in a professional situation where being employed by another company is considered acceptable, let alone being paid by 4 different entities. One would think that the Department of State would be one place where the potential for conflicts of interests would be too great to even allow that to occur. Particularly if one of those entities is a foundation for the person you supposedly work for.

I'm now beginning to wonder who Cheryl Mills and Huma Amadin considered to be their primary employer? Were they working with the State Department and a side job at the Clinton Foundation? Or, were they working for the Clinton Foundation with a side job at the State Department? I'm thinking it was probably the latter.

You would think being among the most powerful and important people at the State Department would be enough. I mean as a tax payer it seems that when we pay you a lot of money to do a very important job we deserve your full attention to it. How dare you divert your time, thoughts and energy to ripping off the USA while being paid to protect us.

Not sure what motivates them entirely - apparently, a trait of sociopathy is needing to feel they are getting away with something. Maybe that's the attraction more than money. Maybe it's the power. Dunno.

Normal people would feel satisfied with a job well done. Obviously, we can't judge them based on the standards we use for ourselves or we won't get what's going on and how to stop it.

Apparently the State Department isn't at all concerned (or so was said in their press event about that guy Band (I may have the name slightly off) from the Foundation contacting them mostly because they get contacted by a wide range of whatever she kept repeating. But the Clinton camp keeps repeating that he did not contact Mills and Abedin in his capacity as a foundation staffer but in his capacity as a Bill-Clinton-former-president-now-private-citizen staffer.

Clearly, given that it's the Clinton empire, I don't think we would expect to be able to track different clothing anymore than we'd expect a different email account or phone number being attached to the 'different' capacity he was filling.

These people REALLY seem to believe others will swallow this garbage. Unbelievable. More unbelievable is that the agencies which are supposed to do the people's business ARE swallowing it. And acting like they like it.

Meanwhile in NYS, the Legislatures want a 46% in base pay. And they get merit increases with committee positions!!! And can make money off the books! Meanwhile SS will get no COLA again, my bet.
