Trump is Right: The Election is Rigged in Favor of Hillary (and the media is complicit)

My last video at Steven D Talks for this week. It discusses the fixation of the media on Trump's gaffes and the lack of coverage of evidence of Hillary and the DNC's misconduct as revealed by Wikileaks, and the numerous election fraud studies showing the likelihood Clinton benefited from numerous corrupt acts in the Democratic Party's 2016 primaries.

Anyone paying attention to what's being covered by the media can see this.
And Trump is playing his roll and self destructing.
Plus we saw the election stolen from us and no one has said anything about it except for Bernie supporters.
The exit polls for the first time didn't add up with the actual vote count, plus millions of Bernie voters were kicked out of their party or scrubbed completely.
Cliff Arnebeck discussed this on his Facebook page and in an interview.

ALERT: Voting rights are on the line! Sign now to stand up for the right to vote!

-- This week marks the 61st anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. Sadly, the Supreme Court recently dismantled that important law, leaving room for Republicans across the country to restrict voting rights.

And they’re doing exactly that. All across the country, Republicans are trying to keep certain people from voting. it’s un-American and it’s wrong.

Will you join people across the country calling on Republicans to immediately restore the full protection of the Voting Rights Act?

So, scream, laugh bitterly, or what?

it has been truly breathtaking to witness the extent to which the media has been acting as an arm of the Clinton campaign. Of course, this is what the Republicans have always accused them of doing, but I don't remember it ever being like this before. From the "Dean Scream" to "Good news for John McCain!", I recall the media always being snotty, appearance-minded, and disproportionately skeptical of the Democratic Party and, especially, its left wing. (Hard to believe now, but in 2004, that was what Howard Dean was seen to represent.) I was a partisan Democrat in those days, so my view may be tinted, but I remember thinking "That's it, we lost" after seeing SNL portray Kerry as a bumbling fool--and draw big laughs for it--a few weeks before the election.

And now it's come to this. It's as if in the media boardrooms they can sense our One Party Future, finally within their grasp.

You would have seen Chevy Chase knock Gerald Ford down enough so that Carter could win. Ford brought this on himself, for he'd promised when the Congress elevated him to the Presidency that he would not seek election to the office when the term ended. But with Reagan pushing strongly for a "co-presidency" -something which would have exploded the Constitution four years earlier than it was eventually- maybe the GOP decided to go with the bumbling stumble bum who went back on his word rather than go with the guy who sought to strangle the Goose Which Lays The Golden Eggs?

Trustvote.org Latest Update August 2, 2016:

"There are three main areas in which the Institute hopes to make an additional contribution this year. One is dealing with the lawsuit against Edison Media Research. Another is dealing with the California lawsuits and the third area is on highlighting solutions to create more integrity in our election systems. We will seek to introduce possible solutions to our election system by introducing an open source election audit system called Democracy Counts and reintroducing the Trachtenberg system. We hope also to introduce some pilot projects of precinct base hand counting which we feel stimulates citizen participation in our democracy, creates more accuracy than electronic systems and has shown itself to be very time-efficient in the past. With respect to the lawsuits, we hope to follow up by communicating about and fundraising for those lawsuits and other actions in California and in Ohio that will bring the issue of election manipulation forward to the American public and hold accountable election officials that have not been supporting this.

In this update here, we will talk about the Ohio Election Integrity lawsuit. During the primary, it appears to be the case that Edison Research edited exit poll results, taking votes from Bernie Sanders and giving them to Hilary Clinton, so that the election results would match the electronic vote totals. Currently Bob Fitrakis has sued Edison Media Research to release unadjusted exit polls for 12 states in the primary. Edison Media Research has told Bob Fitrakis now to communicate with their lawyers. This response is basically a carefully worded refusal. Their law firm is BakerHostetler, a global law firm that reported earnings of over 600 million dollars in 2015. It will be very difficult for Bob Fitrakis to get the unadjusted exit poll results from Edison Media Research for the primary. The Media consortium and the DNC clearly favored Hillary Clinton getting the DNC nomination throughout the time that Bernie was campaigning. When looking at the nature of the law firm used by Edison Media Research, we can see clearly how much power lies in our country in the hands of extremely large corporations and the legal firms associated with them.

Of course, when Bernie was running the Washington Post called people wondering about the hacking of the primary results ” conspiracy theorists”. This term, originated by Karl Rove in 2004 has been used to discredit people who have been concerned about hacking all the time. The issue is that the mainstream media is being biased in its reporting in that it did not support people concerned about the hacking of the primary, but would very much be concerned about the hacking of the November election where Hillary is concerned.

Hopefully, 2016 will be the final year where people concerned about hacking and exit poll manipulation will be labeled “conspiracy theorists”. In developing and promoting the term “conspiracy theorists” to defend the stealing in 2004, Karl Rove did a serious disservice to American Democracy. We at the Institute would deeply appreciate some contributions so that we can possibly go ahead with the lawsuit to demand the raw data of the primary or at least to publicize widely the Edison Media Research’s refusal to release the data. DONATE TODAY

With Guccifer 2.0 possibly cooperating with the Russians in hacking the DNC website, people have become much more aware that foreign country or person could hack our national elections this year. A call for more transparency, for releasing unadjusted data of exit polls becomes critical. In contrast with the primary, the hacking of the November election is very important to the media.
Edison Media Research has been unwilling to release raw exit data that would have shown that Bernie Sanders won in these twelve states. They may change their policy very quickly if the electronic voting machines are hacked by a foreign country. Of course that has to be proven first. If a foreign country like Russia or Israel hacks the US elections and gives votes to Trump, they may release their raw data if it shows conflicting results. The mainstream media will definitely change how they report about hacking as well. Click Here for the article talking about hacking that the Washington Post has just released.

The BIG ISSUE is that the Mainstream Media is acting like a corporate person with favorites and with lots of autonomy and choices as to what they will reveal. So the question is: Is this fair in a democracy or should the media report fairly and equally on all issues? I would answer yes to this question."

Election Fraud

And then there is this by Ted Rall:

Who are you going to believe: us, or your lying eyes? That’s the good word from Democratic Party powers that be and their transcribers in the corporate media, in response to the “allegations” by Bernie Sanders supporters that the nomination was stolen by Hillary Clinton.

I used scare quotes around the word “allegations” because the truth is plain to see and undeniable by anyone with a microgram of honesty: Hillary Clinton cheated. If the rules had been followed, Bernie Sanders would be the nominee.

As with all things Clinton, of course, definitions matter. It depends on what the meaning of “cheat” is.

To most people, “cheating” means breaking the rules of a contest. By this standard definition, there’s no doubt that the Clinton campaign, its political allies and the Democratic National Committee cheated in favor of Clinton and against Sanders. They broke the law. They disenfranchised voters. They broke party rules. And they violated long-standing customs that are so widely accepted that they are essentially de facto rules of the Democratic Party and the American political system.

Bernie Sanders, on the other hand, ran a clean campaign.

So either he doesn't care and is willing to cede the job to his friend Hillary. Or he plans to be the one rigging the election.

The court likely ruled they lacked standing to bring the lawsuit. Standing is a seemingly simple concept in the law, but in practice it is often used in ways that limit the public from suing private companies and/or the government.

Here's a standard definition of standing:

Standing

Standing, or locus standi, is capacity of a party to bring suit in court. State laws define standing. At the heart of these statutes is the requirement that plaintiffs have sustained or will sustain direct injury or harm and that this harm is redressable.

At the Federal level, legal actions cannot be brought simply on the ground that an individual or group is displeased with a government action or law. Federal courts only have constitutional authority to resolve actual disputes (see Case or Controversy). Only those with enough direct stake in an action or law have "standing" to challenge it. A decision that a party does not have sufficient stake to sue will commonly be put in terms of the party's lacking "standing". For Supreme Court decisions focusing on the "standing" issue, see, e.g., County of Riverside v. McLaughlin, 500 U.S. 44 (1991), Northeastern Fla. Chapter of the Associated Gen. Contractors v. City of Jacksonville, 508 U.S. 656 (1993) and Lujan v. Defenders of Wildlife, 504 U.S. 555 (1992).

If you have a link to the case I can look it up, but my guess is the court dismissed the action by claiming that consumers of media can not show a direct harm from the media's actions to permit them to file a lawsuit. The court could also likely claim that under the 1st amendment it would be prevented from interfering in the speech of these corporate persons absent a claim of libel of specific people by a specific media outlet. Another reason to eliminate the doctrine of corporate personhood.

"You can't just leave those who created the problem in charge of the solution."---Tyree Scott

It's long been obvious that the Presidency was to be Hillary's this time around. Media has been as complicit in that as the DNC. Most of the msm has been blatantly shilling for Hillary and against Trump.

Obama has taken the unprecedented step of declaring a Republican nominee unfit to serve.

Prominent Republicans, both officeholders and commentators, have actively been campaigning against the nominee of their own Party. Whether they say they will vote for Hillary, or may write in, or have not as yet decided, they have been attacking Trump.

The RNC has even made it obvious that it is not supporting Trump, but is supporting down ticket Republicans; and the book is that Trump is harming down ticket Republicans--even though he brought out recording breaking numbers of voters during the primaries.

Handwriting. Wall.

This is but a recent development. Prior to the conventions, Trump was carried by the corporate media like no other candidate ever:

Mr. Trump earned $400 million worth of free media last month [February 2016], about what John McCain spent on his entire 2008 presidential campaign...Over the course of the campaign [as of March 2016], he has earned close to $2 billion worth of media attention, about twice the all-in price of the most expensive presidential campaigns in history. It is also twice the estimated $746 million that Hillary Clinton, the next best at earning media, took in.

Media favoritism toward Trump goes back further: Trump has received more network coverage than all the Democratic candidates combined. [December 2015]

...the ratio of TV airtime that ABC World News Tonight has devoted to Donald Trump’s campaign (81 minutes) versus the amount of TV time World News Tonight has devoted to Bernie Sanders’ campaign this year. And even that one minute for Sanders is misleading because the actual number is closer to 20 second[s].

For the entire year.

And the evidence of media favoritism was visible to those who cared to see as of August 2015:

Leading newspapers–the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, LA Times and USA Today–ran three times as many Trump stories as Sanders stories...

All the cable news channels talked about Trump more often than Sanders...

So why should news outlets think voters need to hear about Trump about three times as often as they hear about Sanders?

This doesn't look like blatant shilling for Hillary to me. That shift happened only when Trump exploded his campaign with his recent ridiculous outbursts, and it became clear that third parties were going to see major gains (although winning wasn't likely).

It's no secret that the RNC and the media which created Trumpenstein have lately been waiting in the halls, stilettos in hand, to take him down now that he has outraged too many voters. The question is why they waited so long. Trump gave them everything they needed to do to him as they did to Dukakis, and Dean, and Kerry. Yet they looked the other way as Trump knocked off all of the representatives of the various GOP factions until only he stood. The media cheered every time he scored a solid blow on an opponent.

Did they start noticing how poorly Trump polled with a growing unfavorable rating? Hillary's still isn't much better. Were they worried Trump was going to nuke some nation? Hillary could, only her strikes will be where investors don't have much money to lose. There has to be another reason for the sudden shift in media coverage of Trump.

I'm open to suggestions. Have at it.
