Saw Bernie speaking to his supporters while watching CNN. When he urged that they vote for Hillary, the place went up in smoke--he was booed, and CNN now has the clip on a loop. They have already shown it several times in the last few minutes. Keep it up troops.
asked to do. He has a secure Senate seat and is gaining seniority. He needs never to mention voting for Clinton again and I hope he doesn't. A silence is eloquent here.
People should be looking for a new, younger, more radical - as in anti-global capitalist - leader. I think people will emerge.

"The justness of individual land right is not justifiable to those to whom the land by right of first claim collectively belonged"
that Donald Trump needs to be defeated (words to that effect). There was a response of agreement by the crowd albeit a little weak, a little tepid -- my judgment.
But Bernie's next line as the diarist said was met with VERY loud boos, NOOOOOs, and I guess heckling.
Then I see this asshole "communication" something or other for Hillary who said that some Bernie supporters haven't reached where Bernie is yet in the most condescending way, and then he went back to 2008 when Hillary endorsed Obama and he said Hillary supporters had tears in their eyes.
I haven't seen any tears eight years later, I've seen anger and disgust at the rigged system. THIS time is different.
And to all those who say a vote for Jill Stein is a vote for Trump, I say a vote for Hillary in the primary was a vote for Trump in the general. That's their problem.
Then I see this asshole "communication" something or other for Hillary who said that some Bernie supporters haven't reached where Bernie is yet
I'm sure they'll all come around by the time Bernie gives his primetime speech tonight.
Or, you know, not.

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
as an example of unity is this: did Obama rig the process, did he earn his nomination by every fraudulent means possible aided and abetted by the entire party machine?
As for tears, I've shed plenty--tears of impotent rage. I know the revolution continues but I am old and frankly tired.
yes, they're Bernie supporters. If I were there and Bernie said to vote for Hills I'd boo too and not "oh I like Bernie but I don't like Hillary" but "$^#%& you, Bernie Sanders, for saying we should vote for her".
supporting Hillary and Caine and not accepting Bernie's endorsement. Of course, some, if not all, may have been booing Bernie for even suggesting they support Clinton.
By the way, they were in an air conditioned large, comfortable room -- not out in the hot sun.
Sanders running as a Democrat was the ultimate Democratic spoiler because he showed people what they could and should be. People refusing to vote for Hillary is a compliment and homage to the standards Bernie set.

Actually, right after the crowd booed when he mentioned HRC, they loudly chanted "Bernie!" for an extended time. I hope CNN included that. They were booing the idea of HRC, and cheering for Bernie.
Vox has posted the clip of Bernie being booed from ABC News.
In response to the booing, Bernie implores the crowd: "Brothers and sisters, this is the real world we live in!"
Of course, it wasn't always so, at least not in Bernie's estimation. Remember, Bernie, when you said:
And what would happen is, debate after debate, television program after television program, the progressive, third party people, would in fact get the best response from the audience. And people would say, "Yeah, you guys make a lot of sense." And then you go up to them and say, "Are you going to vote for us?" And then they say, "Oh, of course we're not going to vote for you. You can't win! We're going to vote for the Democrat. You're a much better candidate - everything you're saying is true. But we can't waste our vote." "Waste our vote" was the expression. So if there's any term that drives me crazy, it's this quote unquote waste our vote.
That of course was from 1991. I wonder, Bernie, what has happened in the intervening years to make that no longer valid? Or do you now believe it was never valid, and that voting for anyone other than HillTrump is indeed a wasted vote? If so, it appears some of your followers still haven't gotten the memo.

Sanders has done more than any 74 year old should be
asked to do. He has a secure Senate seat and is gaining seniority. He needs never to mention voting for Clinton again and I hope he doesn't. A silence is eloquent here.

In that clip that CNN is playing, Bernie first said
that Donald Trump needs to be defeated (words to that effect). There was a response of agreement by the crowd albeit a little weak, a little tepid -- my judgment.

That's OK...

They were booing Hellery, not Bernie
they wouldn't have come out in the hot sun if they were not Bernie supporters.

yup.
They were exactly booing Bernie's idea of
supporting Hillary and Caine and not accepting Bernie's endorsement. Of course, some, if not all, may have been booing Bernie for even suggesting they support Clinton.
By the way, they were in an air conditioned large, comfortable room -- not out in the hot sun.
It's all so ironic

Someone said it elsewhere a little while ago
he's got to play the game, so that he can't be blamed for dividing the Dems.
Every time he says "Vote for Hillary", you stay mad.
Right??
And that'll keep your resolve up until November, when you WILL vote Third Party.
Right???
Yeah, dude's playing a long game. Hang with it...
Thank you for this insight, lc
It helps.
