Vote your conscience – Vote Jill Stein.

Cross-posted from my blog.

Below are a few stories, illustrating the hate-filled world that Donald Trump incites and some reject:

Here is a short video explaining How the Republican Party went from Lincoln to Trump

Personally, the only way I can stomach watching the hate fest [aka RNC / Trump coronation] is through the lens provided by comedians like Stephen Colbert, etc.:

Bottom line: The theme of Trump’s GOP -- “Make America Fearful, Hateful and White Again.”

______

In a previous blog post, I explained why Hillary is not the answer to Trump’s hate-filled agenda. As Jill Stein has pointed out:

"Trump says very scary things — deporting immigrants, massive militarism and ignoring the climate. Well, Hillary, unfortunately, has a track record for doing all of those things” ...

Trump and Clinton both serve the ‘corporate interests’ and in varying degrees sell us a bill of goods through fear-mongering & esp. in Trump’s case peddlers of hate.

In the immortal words of John F. Kennedy: “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country” -- I’m imploring my fellow citizens to put aside your fears and be the leaders your country needs you to be.

If you value:

  • Social Justice and Equal Opportunity -- vote Green Party’s Jill Stein.
  • Ecological Wisdom and Sustainability -- vote Green Party’s Jill Stein.
  • Diversity and Non-Violence -- vote Green Party’s Jill Stein.

Dare to vote your values -- vote for Jill Stein, the only candidate committed to work for a “People’s Agenda”.

When I was a kid, Republicans used to red scare people, now it's the Democrats. I am getting too damn old for this crap!

any better than scare tactics to vote for HRC.

Second, I would not trust any word than came out of DK any more than I would from the Daily Beast.

Third, my conscience is my own and cannot be directed by others.

Fourth, just watching selected information about any topic rather than the whole is like judging a movie based on the trailers rather than going to see it and making up your own mind.

Have a nice day and try to keep cool.

opposition, IMO. The post ends with:

If you value:
Social Justice and Equal Opportunity -- vote Green Party’s Jill Stein.
Ecological Wisdom and Sustainability -- vote Green Party’s Jill Stein.
Diversity and Non-Violence -- vote Green Party’s Jill Stein.

Dare to vote your values -- vote for Jill Stein.

Very positive statements. Of course her campaign should focus on the positive, but I think both positive and negative need to be pointed out, for those who don't know her or her campaign's differences with the mainstream yet.

To me, that means that the will of people is expressed by their votes.

In our current circumstances, if I vote for Jill Stein and the Green Party, that means I support her and what the Green Party stands for. I am happy to have the opportunity to do that in our country.

how Trump stands on the issues. Just looking at the titles tells me that. *cough* If the diaries are not talking about issues, then they are pure scare tactics and worthless to everyone other than those people trying desperately to convince themselves they know what they are doing.

One does not need scare tactics to promote voting for Jill Stein. She is an issue-oriented person and to use scare tactics to promote her tarnishes her message.

need to read them. The part I like is this:

As Jill Stein has pointed out:

"Trump says very scary things — deporting immigrants, massive militarism and ignoring the climate. Well, Hillary, unfortunately, has a track record for doing all of those things” ...

Equating Trump and Hillary, where appropriate, is something I think we have to do in order to motivate people to vote third party and walk away from lesser evilism.

Should we focus positively on the issues? Sure. But that doesn't mean we never raise the negative issues regarding the opposition.

At this point, I'm very grateful that there are so many talented comedians out there.
We're facing such a toxic future that I sometimes don't even want to turn on the "news".
