Thank goodness! If Bernie can't pull off one of his amazing miracles, at least there's a non-corporate candidate hopefully getting higher visibility who's not out to destroy democracy and life on the planet for corporate/billionaire gain who Americans can vote for, against the evils!

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

It would be a boon, since she's already on the ballot in 20 or more states (in particular most of the blue states), and is in the process of getting on the ballot in most of the remaining states.
Wouldn't someone that focused on the public good make a great pairing with Bernie's dedication and be a great VP, if Bernie did take her up on this? That could be the saving of not only America but life on the planet.

I've been wondering about the sanity of my decision to go to Philly. If Bernie endorses HRC, then I feel any occupy/protest/agenda movement might be deflated.
I haven't been on a vacation in over 10 years because I can't afford them. Yet, here I am going to Philly. One son gave me some miles for the airfare and one paid for the bnb. My daughter is giving me spending money. They have jobs so can't go to Philly, so I'll basically be representing the 3 of them plus my daughter-in-law -- and of course, my grandchildren.
Jill Stein has been our "go to" when we have discussed an alternative to Bernie. None of us (previously all staunch democrats) can vote for Hillary -- she is no longer the 'lesser of two evils'. By supporting and voting for Jill, the democratic party will see how many votes they lost when they shoved a flawed candidate down our throats, suppressed our votes in Arizona, manipulated the media, and lied about Bernie. And maybe Jill could even win!
In the past, I would not vote green because it seemed to be a republican 'set up' to drain off democratic votes. Well, that's just what we need this election so it doesn't matter. We need a new party and it would take decades to start a brand new one from scratch. The greens are there and at least SAY they are pushing the issues that we care about.
I now intend to vote 'green' religiously in all future elections -- just as I have done since the 70's with democrats. The corruption in the democratic party is now just too much to bear and I don't want to support it in any way.
People keep saying "change the party from within" about the dems. That's laughable now. It is so clear that the 'little people' no longer stand a chance there. Obama said to 'hold his feet to the fire' about his promises in the first election. Over time, no one was allowed to criticize him because it somehow hurt party 'unity'. F#ck that! I'm not doing it again!
And I sure as sh!t don't want to go through 8 more years of watching the Clintons flaunting their lawbreaking in our faces, watching our youth get blown up in wars, and feeling like the planet is melting.
I plan on signing up for volunteer work for Jill once Bernie endorses HRC.
Peace.

Awesome. Wish I could be there. Will it be streamed or on You Tube?
Steven D can you post how we can contribute again.
It is looking more and more like Dr. Stein will be the standard bearer for Progressives in this election cycle. We need to start planning on how to coordinate with other sites to get fund raising going for her. If we can get adds on television, she can capitalize on the dissatisfaction of the voters.
We are planning on livestreaming the event but all the details have not yet been finalized. I wiil let you know as soon as I can. People watching online will be able to vote on each plank of the platform by sending text messages via cell phone.

I hope the place is packed.
Actually, I hope you have to move to a bigger venue!

Excellent! Go Dr. Jill!
Thankful that she's on the ballot in Texas! Even if my machine vote will be manipulated, my conscience will be clean!
Wish I could be there.
We hope to be livestreaming the event
So people online can vote too and see the speeches!

Sweet, Steven D!
Hope I can watch live. Gotta recheck the time if it's listed. Not allowed to even look at my phone at work because I'm the wrong age, sex, and race.
I'll at least be able to watch after the fact, though, right?
Woot! It's on a Saturday!
I get to watch live!
will it be streamed
via the website or youtube or both? Thanks for the info.
I'm so glad y'all included Jill! We need her voice. And we need the Green Party.

At least someone is giving her a platform.
Gëzuar!!

Jill Stein has offered to let Bernie replace her...
...on the Green Party ticket.

Bernie ain't gonna do it.
I don't really understand why not. But it's his decision to make.

Did he say that?

I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
The Greens are making progress.
And are picking up some of the high-population states.
Okay you guys in PA, VA, NJ, and CT: Get with it!
Life is strong. I'm weak, but Life is strong.
On the ballot in Illinois

But I'm voting for Tammy Duckworth for Senator, splitting my ticket. All else goes Green.

I've got my plane ticket and bnb reserved
I'll be there!

Get signatures on ballot petitions in Philly?
I just noticed that Jill is not on the PA ballot yet. I would be happy to gather signatures as I walk around there.
Also, there will be a lot of people from other states in Philly. Is it possible to get signatures for other states as well?
Does Jill have a Philly office where the forms can be picked up? Or a place online to download them?
