Sanders' Live Stream...I hope
Submitted by WindDancer13 on Thu, 06/16/2016 - 7:18pm
I did not RSVP for the live stream because of the weird stuff I read here about some of the sign ups. So I started looking around to see if I could find it being run somewhere. Here is what I found, and I hope it works. If not, can someone, please, post a running transcript for those of us who are not plugged in? Thank you.

I don't think Hillary is gonna like what we heard
very nicely done, Bernie. Lots of ideas, in contrast to that lady.
Class act.
I hope she is kicking Bill all around their current enclave. I think Sanders just set a trap for her. = )

I am guessing you mean about the trap, not
about kicking Bill. = )
He laid out very succinctly what the majority People want. He gave numbers and examples to back it up. HRC and the Democratic Party have been put on notice that the future voters (45 and under) are not going to put up with their shit. There are a lot of politicians who would like to be re-elected, and he just told everyone that they can and will be replaced. (Now we have to prove it to them...he said it, we have to back it up). Okay, that is the groundwork.
The trap? Is HRC going to be able to dispute anything he said? If she goes around speaking about most of these topics in the same manner she has been ($12 vs $15, etc.), she knows that she will be going against the will of the American people and We the People will know it also. Pretty sure she will want to be re-elected, and pretty sure that she knows that she is going to be hounded day and night to do the right things. Can we trust anything she says? Hell, no. But he is backing her into a corner. He is advocating holding both of her feet to the fire.
I expect in the months to come he will continue to call for revolution. If he goes out on the stump trail (which the Democratic Party may try to avoid, but I am not sure how they can stop him), it will be to talk about defeating Trump and put the Revolution on firmer footing. There will be no praise for her policies that do not put people first. I also expect that he will draw far larger crowds than she will during the GE which is like a huge tell that the majority of the people want and demand what he is espousing.
In other words, we can MAKE her and the rest of the party work for us by being involved. As he said, it will take time and continued vigilance, but we need to start now.
PS I still believe that we need a third and maybe fourth party as that will also bring pressure to bear.

YES! That is a bully pulpit speech!
And that is what he does so well, use the bully pulpit. Obama could have done it, most of his speeches miss the mark.

Absolutely!
This makes my day better already
Just one point of order--people under 45 are definitely not going to put up with this shit, but there's more than a few fifty-somethings that ain't far behind them
What's the trap?
If she doesn't adopt a number of the points he made in that speech he runs as an independent or refuses to endorse? Bern's a smart guy and I'll trust him, but it seems like he's playing 'em pretty close to the vest right now.
interesting....
Sea Turtle
No, he will not run 3rd party.
I wrote a long response above. As of right now, I am not sure he will ever actually use the word "endorse" but if he does he will do so in a way that doesn't endorse any policies that he has clearly defined as needing to be changed.

He's a stinker, ain't he? He just laid out a plan on how to
fix all the problems in our country and thumbed his nose at Trump, Clinton, and the DNC.
At the end I was laughing. I was so happy. Can you imagine what Obama/Reed/Pelosi are saying? They've been trying to put the squeeze on Sanders to end his campaign and he goes and does this.

What I hope Hillary heard tonight.
I may be wrong but here is what I think Hillary heard tonight: 1) Bernie's not going anywhere - he is leading the revolution and holds all the cards and he laid them out succinctly for the world to see. 2) If Hillary does eke out a win, he (with us) will hold her feet to the fire every step of the way. 3) Starting with DWS, he will be cleaning house. 4) Hillary and the DNC will be brought to heel. 5) The power brokers who once supported Hillary will now be looking elsewhere for a party to belong to as they will no longer favor her (they will be bunking in with the Republicans). 6) While Hillary may ultimately get her wish and become queen; Bernie is the kingmaker and he will own her the entire time she is in office. 7) The Democratic Party as we know it is over.
Corporate funders will still stick with DNC
until the DNC reinstates the ban on lobbying. This was a Wasserman-Schultz idea - let the lobbyists have more corporate speech at the Democratic convention!
Obama /Biden actually did the right thing in 08.
This is something I expect Bernie to be negotiating on even as I type this.
Other than that, I like your points and hope you are correct on all of them. Naturally, mainstream media has very little coverage of Bernie's speech last night. They appear to want to talk about Donald Trump. Shocking, I know.

I have more towels than will fit

So what was that?
I ran out to let my pup go potty so maybe I missed something. He didn't concede, he didn't endorse, but the entire tenor of the speech seemed a little conciliatory. Some third-dimensional chess game he's playing with HRC and the DNC to get planks adopted, or a set up for something else?
That was the get to work, folks, speech.
The battle has just begun, and we have a war to win. In other words, even if HRC is elected, we can and will transform the country under her nose, and there is not much she can do about it. = )
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.--Aristotle
If there is no struggle there is no progress.--Frederick Douglass
Fair enough
But if that was the preamble to a series of speeches that culminates with him endorsing HRC I have to say, with all due respect, I'm disappointed. The speech was a nice summary of what we need from our leaders but it's not going to win any converts, not like that Cali speech in contrast. I can't help but think that was Bern drawing a very public line in the sand, and that in turn makes me wonder what he's threatening the establishment with.
We don't know, but I suspect he knows
exactly where the bodies are buried.
He is going to have to concede someday, ya know. He put it off again while continuing to build consensus and probably will continue to do so until after the convention. If other things don't pan out (like the FBI), no matter how much we dislike it she will be the nominee. He cannot come out and say, no way, I won't endorse her. I do suspect that the wording will not be everything the Democratic Party or HRC would wish for though.
Just a side thought: What would happen if after she becomes the nominee, she gets indited? The Party may decide to pull her out of the race (if they are smart). Who should be there ready to go with all the support in the world behind him?

I think concession was implied; endorsement, not so much
although he did also say, more or less, that she is better than Trump... but the Dems must change course. Using the term "we" when referring to Democrats. Not sure I've heard that before. But then he focused much more on local and state level activism and political involvement. There was certainly no suggestion that "we" need to work hard to elect Hillary now. No, none of that. Good. I'm still sad, but I saw this coming a long time ago so I'm not devastated. I hope he continues to make Her Highness and the Democratic party establishment squirm. Depressing, but I also did like the speech, overall.
According to Sam Seder (MSNBC), Bernie is
saying that he is going to work within the Democratic Party--with FSC--to 'transform' it.
That was the gist of it.

Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong.
I think the correct wording
instead of "with FSC" would be "In spite of HRC."
I do not understand why anyone would be surprised that he would work within the party. That has been his stance all along. He has not said anything against nor discouraged any others planning on forming a third party. Nudging the Democratic Party back to the left is going to take some time. What will help it along is a real left wing party. If the right can stumble its way back toward the center instead of off the cliff, we could end up with three viable parties covering a large range of viewpoints instead of two parties which are nearly indistinguishable.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.--Aristotle
If there is no struggle there is no progress.--Frederick Douglass
Let me clarify, Seder said those words,
and so did Bernie in his speech this evening. Literally.
("I will work with her to transform the Democratic Party." He said this, after stating that he had met with Secretary Clinton on Tuesday.)
Now, if you're saying that Bernie probably doesn't relish dealing with her, you'll get no argument out of me.
I must say, I'm likely one of the least surprised folks. (that he intends to lead his revolution within the Democratic Party)
Heck, I've been posting videos and partial transcripts since he was interviewed by George S, as far back as last winter or spring, which attest to the fact that Bernie had has no intention of making a Third Party run. With very little success in getting the point across, I might add.
All I can say is, "I wish he would!"
Bottom line, for my Family, a team of Wild Horses couldn't make us vote for FSC, her husband, or her daughter. Including, if Trump is the final Republican nominee.
In our opinions, eight years of WJC was enough for one lifetime!
Have a good one!

You are not the only one.
I have been trying like forever now to tamp down the expectations of a third party run to the point of getting yelled at.
I know that Seder and Sanders said the words. I was providing a translation.
One post I saw in a comments section of some article a couple of days ago was from a Republican who stated how very much he like BILL Clinton and his policies (though he had no use for HRC). Rather telling, huh?
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.--Aristotle

You got that right. Guess who just endorsed FSC
earlier today?
Right-wing Republican, and former Sec of State under GWB--Richard Armitage.
Yikes!
From his Wikipedia entry:
Susan Collins (a good friend of hers, and a Republican Senator) has endorsed her, I believe.
A few political shills are suggesting that FSC pick Collins as her VP running mate. (Like McCain considered Lieberman, I suppose.)
Actually, I doubt that something like that is necessarily farfetched. I'm thinking that if FSC should decide that she cannot get the votes of the majority of Bernie's supporters, she might just swing back (hard) to the right, and try to pick up more so-called moderate Republicans and Independents. (Including some of Gary Johnson's libertarian voters.)
*Sigh*
My head aches, just thinking about it!

IF she is elected, it is very possible that it will be due to Republican votes. How much more evidence do people need? Does she have to start wearing her "little Goldwater banner" again? Really, when one of the Kochs said that he would think about voting for her, heads should have been reeling.
The fact that so very few of our Democratic politicians say anything about this tells us they are just fine with it and lean that way also.

Just another sophist bit of propaganda to make her sound smarter and more honest than she really is.
Yup. And then we have Obama

I'm with you on that, more or less. I have said for years that nobody's that good an actor, particularly Obama. I said it mostly for different reasons, but his endorsement for Hillary seemed tinged with sarcasm and ridicule. I caught the "crazy smart" reference, too, more than once-that's not something most folks tend to use in more than any one given moment...
I am 99% sure that at one interview he also
said that she was "wicked smart." I think it was an audio interview a few months ago. Makes me wonder what she has on him that he does not want exposed.

Looks like the Clintons are cashing in their chips that they won at the Obama casino.

I hadn't read that. Interesting.
Could explain why Obama allowed HRC to do pretty much anything she wanted to do including Libya. I think we can rule out ant kind of friendship since WJC's comment about Obama carrying his luggage. Faustian, indeed.

Not conciliatory at all.
Damning by faint praise? Not even that. Bernie has held up such a high standard that in no way can Medusa even PRETEND to aim for most of its goals. HRC cannot and will not accede to his criteria. She has been in default for this entire campaign and will continue to be in default FOREVER. Bernie did not concede anything. He said he will work to ensure that a Trump is not elected president. He did not say he would endorse Hillary, only that he would "work with her" to draft the Orange Haired Ogre. Bernie is shrewd. He is going to fight for this nomination to the end of the convention.
My suspicion is that he will give Hillary a Hobson's choice: verbally endorse and agree to support Bernie's progressive agenda ("Yes, I, Hillary Clinton will do everything in my power to enact this progressive platform") OR weasel out of any but the most tepid endorsement of such platform. If she elects the former positions (and Brothers and Sisters, we know she won't--she would surely cough herself to death even mouthing those words). We all do know that she is a weasel--always has been a weasel--always will be a weasel. She will choose the path of most remuneration, being the best candidate money can buy. At the convention, my hope is that Bernie will insist on Medusa's loud, verbal, public endorsement of the progressive platform during her acceptance speech. If she does not, he will walk. He's certainly been well-justified in so doing. "The game is yet afoot".
The more I see Bernie lately the more I am starting to wonder
what his conversation with Obama really was about...
I am seriously starting to wonder if he was told to STAY in the race, because something is coming down the pike, but to be really civil, make it seem like you are supporting Hillary if it comes to it so her supporters have a reason to come to you if something happens?
His tone doesn't seem conciliatory, only civil...
After having this thought I started to wonder if his somewhat "off" behavior afterwards was because he was trying to come to grips with the fact that he might actually be President soon, something I think he probably assumed wasn't even remotely possible at the start of this thing.
Yes this is most likely 100% pure bullshit speculation, but I like to speculate about things.
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
If that's bullshit, please get me some.
Cause right now that thinking coalesces with my thoughts. BHO sees HRC cruise ship directly heading for an iceberg. He knows there is a lifeboat ready and waiting for him to get of the sinking ship. His "legacy" will be to see that this is not the year to witness the all-but-inevitable dissolution of the Democratic Party. How does history remember the last Whig President--we all know who the first Republican President was.

I took notes: Heres the list of topics Bernie said.
major takeaways:
He's going to the convention, to fight for the platform, but also to make it real.
He wants his supporters to run for political office.
Other than that, it's a repeat of our "laundry list" of what we want and need as progressives:
Live blog Bernie Sanders call
June 16, 2016
1. The revolution continues – like every movement for social change, civil rights, etc.
2. We had 85%? of those under 45.
3. Bunches of numbers. Stats on contributions, phone calls, etc. Showed that we could run a national campaign without big money contributions.
4. In every state, we took on the entire political establishment. Senators, Reps, Governors, elected officials.
5. This campaign has never been about any single candidate 6:35.
6. It’s about ending income inequality. It’s about ending campaign finance by corporations. Creating an economy for all of us, not just the 1%.
7. Ending status quo: Native American reservation, life expectancy. Millions of americans dying at a younger age than their parents: suicide, childhood poverty. Ending the disgrace, undocumented people exploited on their jobs.
8. Tens of Thousands of Americans dying every year from preventable diseases.
9. Young single mom in Nevada $10. How can we make it ?
10. Mom in Flint, Mich. Excessive lead in water, stunted intellectual development.
11. Homelessness veterans in streets.
12. Corporations avoid paying a nickel in taxes, stash in tax havens.
13. Defeating Donald Trump. Makes bigotry the cornerstone of his campaign. 6:40 wants to give hundreds of B of $ in tax breaks, climate change denier.
14. Major political task. Defeat Trump. But can’t be our only goal. Must continue grassroots .
15. Must take our energy in to the Dem convention in Philly with 1900 delegates.
16. No secret HRC and I have strong disagreements, but agree on others.
17. I will make sure that your voices are heard. Democrats will pass the most progressive platform in history and that we actually fight for that agenda.
18. A party that has the guts to take on the Pharma, Fossil Fuel industries, others.
19. Dem party must support raising wage to $15 / hr. women .79 / vs $1.women must have right to control own bodies. Protect right to gay marriage.
20. Ban sale and distribution of assault weapons, gun show loophole, and have instant background checks.
21. Stop the TPP, must not come to the floor.
22. Expand Social security, not cut it.
23. Greed, recklessness of wall st must end. Pass a modern Glass Steagal. No more “too big to fail”.
24. Aggressively combat climate change, impose a tax on carbon. Must protect our water supply by banning fracking.
25. Make public colleges tuition free reduce student debt.
26. Health care a right, not a privilege
27. Prison industry, criminal justice reform.
28. Comprehensive immigration reform for 11 M undocumented people.
29. Waste in ever department including D o D.
30. Can’t keep throwing young people into unnecessary wars.
31. Fight for our ideals, defeat D Trump. 3 at every level continue to fight for our nation to be just. Current DNC leadership has turned its back on many states, like red states, allowed right wing to run unopposed, we need a 50 state strategy. Must provide resources to ignored states. 6 47
32. Leadership, DNC must open its doors, welcome working people and young people. Cold hard fact. Since 2009, some_____ legislative seats have been lost to R. Start engaging at local and state level in unprecedented way.
33. Young people deeply concerned about country and community. Start running for office! School boards, commissioners, whatever! Be prepared to engage at that level.
34. With energy and enthusiasm our campaign has shown, we can win significant numbers of offices at down ticket level. We need new blood. You are that new blood. 6:50.
35. Government is not the enemy. what Rs say. I disagree. Government must protect us and our planet. But we need to attract dedicated people from all walks of life to run for office.
36. Tens of thousands of new Drs, medical personnel, where ppl lack care.
37. We need child care workers, teachers.
38. We need scientists, engineers, entrepeneurs to work for renewables, efficient and cost effective as possible. Construction.
39. Business entrepeneurs who respect employees and environment.
40. Conclude: we have begun the long and arduous process of transforming America. My hope is that when historians look back and find when we began reversing the trend towards oligarchy. They see that the political revolution began in 2016. 6:53. Dark screen.
thanks mj55. This is NOT what Hillary wants to talk about
she wants a campaign that looks like this:
1. Fear Donald Trump
That's about it. Compare to the list you compiled from what Bernie said tonight and the difference is eye-popping.
Yep, exactly right. This is not what she wants him saying
Really her entire campaign comes down to two things: "Fear Trump" and "I'm a woman!" That is literally all she's got. Even her campaign manager said just today or yesterday that it's time to focus on making sure Trump is not president. NOT that we must make Hillary president because she has any reason to be, but just "can't be Trump". How pathetic! Trump is supposed to be SOOO bad that we don't need anything from her or the Dem party. Oh, and did she mention, she's a Woman!!! Sigh.
I'm starting to put together
my Fuck You diary to the Orange Sludge Factory, and a variation of this is actually in my opening paragraph:
That IS all she's got! I've been asking for a couple years now for more specifics, and no one in a position to know could answer with a cogent list of issues with a spelled-out plan.
She's full of shit and this speech of Sanders absolutely demonstrates that. Well, unless she has a response speech. That would be rich but she's too chicken. Look for her to take to Twitter and take potshots at him.
The entire Democratic Party has not had much
of a message in recent elections. I read a piece the other day that said that the Democratic Party strategy to win the Senate was to not say much and let the Republicans self destruct. Bernie is saying that the Democratic Party should stand for something.
Donald Trump is the trap
Either we use Trump fear on them.
Or they use it on us.
If Bloody Hillary wins, I don't want to hear a single whimper or complaint from the Left for the next four years.
Hi Pluto,
Aren't the Left the ones fighting for Bernies' platform? I thought I was "Left". I have done all I know how to support the cause. Are we just progressives now?
'Well, I've wrestled with reality for thirty five years, Doctor, and I’m happy to state I finally won out over it." Elwood P. Dowd "
Good point
I'm not a Democrat anymore. I'm a Sanders Progressive and I am on The Left. I can promise you, if Bloody Hillary gets elected, y'all are gonna hear a LOT from me.
(well, okay, I'm a "Democrat" on paper until August, when I can vote in the other FL primary, but after that? I'm done with those craven cowards )
You'e the Left. So am I.
We have plenty more to do to keep Hillary out of the White House.
I have no problem with inflicting Trump on the Democrats. He'll be helpless, anyway (checks and balances). The Democrats must lose or your voice will be buried by Our Corporate Overlords forever.
He also devoted to good chunk of time
trying to get his followers to run for local and state offices, if not for national ones. He said, and he's right, that local elected officials make decisions that really affect people's lives.
Life is strong. I'm weak, but Life is strong.
From the ground up
You can't start nailing on the roof shingles until you build the foundation.
Nature is my religion; the earth is my temple.
Good luck on that one
if these new candidates for office from dog catcher, city supervisor to governor and state reps run as progressive Democrat's in the current Democratic party unless they toe the neoliberal crooked line and lie like hell they will not get the support or money from the Democratic machine that is firmly entrenched in every count, city state and national level. It ain't gonna happen if they run as Democrat's and need the backing of the machine. Not trying to dampen spirits as this was a great speech brought me to tears.
I just think that the Democratic party is not the vehicle needed to take back the country as laid out in Bernie's great speech. We worked hard locally as local Dem. activists starting in 2004-06 and although we managed to on a city level so called a lot of 'progressives' elected they turned out to be wolves in progressives clothing. How does Bernie think we the people who agree his principles and agenda can use the Democratic party as a vehicle?
'I am taking back my country and the vehicle I'm using is the Democratic party.' Howard Dean circa 2003-4?
Look where Dr. Dean has ended up. Bernie won't but why funnel all this energy for real change to work for the Democratic [party which has no use for and actively on every level shoots down any candidate who actually just might be progressive or democratic.
I agree.
Progressives are kneecapped at every level.
However, I'm willing to see where Bernie goes with this and if it is effective, well, maybe I won't give up on the party.
dfarrah
They do not have to run as a Democrat.
There are a lot of Independents and people from other parties (e.g. the woman in San Francisco with the hard to spell name) in local and state governments. Eventually, it will open up more within the federal level also. Sanders said that HE was going to work within the party. Others will also. Some do not want to leave the party. Many will join or form other parties, and Sanders has in no way discouraged that.

it seems he wants what every normal person would want - life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
No statements on failed foreign policy adventures? It certainly would not help Hillary. We've been exposed to her ugly sausage-making business as Sec. of State. Not a good transition to POTUS. "By 2016, [160] is how many years it will have been since the last candidate with secretary of state credentials was voted into the White House." Smithsonianmag.com
"If Hillary Clinton’s goal is to become President of the United States in 2016, would she improve her odds by accepting the Secretary of State position? My answer to this is a qualified ‘no’." Nate Silver, fivethirtyeight.com, 15 Nov 2008.
So Nate proves that even a broken clock is right two times a day.
But back to Sanders, he should also have brought up the wretched exit polling results, something that has been affecting his primary campaign since almost the start. Always favoring Clinton, especially when there was no paper trail. 25 states with clear evidence of fraud from exit poll data. And what is being addressed to expose it in California.
I'm a single issue player: End US global murder and mayhem.
Like you, I heard nothing about that, making it clear that the wishes of the American people are neither considered nor requested by the war criminals in charge of US empire. Every Presidential candidate surrenders that before they even enter the ring.
As for the primary cheating, meh. People can't bring themselves to address the fact that they do not have a "right" to vote in a Federal election, so they have little room to complain about the hillbilly patchwork of mismatched election systems in the US, a deplorable blight on the concept of democracy. Americans don't even demand UN oversight in their elections. Did they really think it wasn't gamed until just now?
Thanks for sharing those interesting facts about the SOS and Nate. I give him credit for still plugging away and trying to get it right.
Nate (poblano)
should go back to sports stats. Plenty of money there, for reasons that I do not understand.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Superb summary of an awe-inspiring speech, mj55
It is precisely this agenda which Medusa cannot and will not support--not even a tiny fraction thereof.
I am tired of the "Bernie and I [HRC] have more in common with each other than Donald Trump". Hillary, if we're going down the list of commonalities, chimpanzees and humans share 99% of the same genome. I would actually estimate Your genome to be 99.3% of a chimpanzee's genetics. Funny thing about chimpanzees in captivity, they are prone to big toothy grins, then throwing shit on any and all watching. Hillary, is there a difference here?
We fight on -
I am SO relieved and happy that he didn't concede and he didn't endorse. Bernie is absolutely for REAL as a progressive leader. I had donated on Monday, and will donate again tonight in order to keep the progressive movement moving forward. My kids and soon-to-be grandchild deserve no less.
Think off-center.

Check with the new link he gave.
We need to find where to send donations and to what account. I am not sure what happens to money earmarked for the campaign goes after it is done, and I certainly don't want it to be forfeited to HRC.

Go to his website
Mailing address P.O. Box in Burlington:
I've been doing this all along, so that Act Blue (which fund folks who don't "act blue" and has Clinton's picutre all over it) doesn't get my info or my donation. Old fashioned but the Dem machine is so corrupt . . . and I got "monthly donation" charges when I hadn't clicked that box during prior campaigns: rip off, and some folks may not catch it and object.
Sick of being abused by political parties. Go Bernie!
There are only two ways to defeat Trump,
unless the Republican party somehow ousts him. That is for Clinton to win or for a third party candidate to win, i.e., someone other than Trump would have to win.
He's not running third party, that is obvious.
He is supporting Clinton against Trump and supporting the Democratic party and Congress as the vehicle of change.
End of Bernie's political revolution.
there are still a few weeks...
till the convention. This week or next week we get the new wikileaks emails. There is also the truthvote election fraud suit. It ain't over till it's over.
Of course I tend to see the glass half full.

I think Obama is on the hook now,
it won't happen. I don't think its a glass half full or empty thing. You probably know I'm dead set against anything democratic party and Sanders is going to do it, whether now or in a few weeks. So I'm just saying what I honestly see happening.
Yes, Sanders is going to affect changes through
the current party system. That does not mean that we have to. He did not say for people to run for offices as Democrats. He just said get out there and be involved.

What is happening with that lawsuit? I haven't seen anything
about it the last few days. Too bad Bern didn't talk about it, that would've really shaken their tailfeathers!

The glass is always full.
It may be half water, but the rest is full of air which is a substance that can be very powerful.

I like that WD
air is one of the four elements!

And water is another. n/t

My half full glasses at this point
are a real drag. So i clean them up every morning and realize once again the half full dregs are nothing I really want to drink or even have to deal with.
You gotta be careful...
what you fill your glasses with...some things leave a residue!
All the best to you shaharazade... try to keep your good spirits, there's no telling what's around the bend!

One great way to beat Trump
Is to stand aside and let him run his face.
NOBODY is doing more damage to him that him. He's alienating republicans despite that lame shit Rince tweeted earlier today.
Unsure why they are tolerating him this far: the GOP need somebody like Scotty from the old Star Trek series to wring his hands and scream "I don't know how much more of this she can handle, captain...She's breaking up!"
If the GOP doesn't replace him - and I have no clue what they have to offer, probably because they have nothing - Her Majesty will just move into the White House early.
I didn't hear him support Hillary.
I did hear a promise to fight like hell for the Democratic nomination.
Statistically, he has a better chance of defeating Trump if he's the Dem Nominee than if he runs third party. But that doesn't mean that it's impossible.
Life is strong. I'm weak, but Life is strong.
No he didn't say
he would fight for the nomination. He said he would fight to get our issues in the Dem platform and fight to see they are adhered to.
Thank you, OLinda--that is exactly what he said! EOM
