Anytime a government person tells me something, I do not automatically believe everything they say and take them at face value. Have you ever listen to Josh Earnest do a Q & A after a press release? It's festival of pretzel logic and linguistic gymnastics. Cringe worthy even. History has proven over and over our government lies to us. 935 times the GWB administration went on TV, and to the UN, and LIED to everybody, the entire world about Iraq's WMD's. That is fact, is it not?

I went with people from MoveOn.Org to protest at Senator Cruz's Dallas, TX office today, for him to do his job, that is to Advise and Consent, as the constitution requires by members of the Senate, regarding a president's nomination to the supreme court. There weren't a whole lot of protesters, but it is a Monday and many people have to work.

I wrote a diary last night and set it to auto publish at 8am this morning. Everything went as planned. Within an hour my diary was on the rec list. I left the house around 11:30am to go protest with MoveOn.Org at Senator Cruz's office here in Dallas, took some pictures, hung out for a while and then came back home, excited to write a new diary about protesting Senator Cruz. (I really despise Cruz).

While Senator Sander is correct, that when we as a nation come together, there's nothing we can not do. However, being "pragmatic" about it, we need to insure we don't have to keep demonstrating in the streets to achieve our goals, rather we need to make sure we have the right people, in the right places, to insure our agenda, a progressive agenda and progressive candidates are on the table, and most especially on the ballot in down ballot races.
