safety

The Dose November 18, 2021

A column for all things COVID

The greatest impact this week for me was watching Senator Ron Johnson - R - Wisconsin in the subcommittee hearings on the vaccine injured. The Rumble video is almost three hours long but it is very watchable, unlike Odysee, with no stutters or voids.

If someone could put up a link to that video, I would so appreciate it.

I also want to add that the usually expected safety oversight groups and usual processes seem to have been truncated for the 'studies'. Someone like McCullough or Malone had quite a bit to say about the discarded safety procedures. I have looked for the video, but couldn't find it.

It looks like Pfizer had a grand total of one (1) trial that has been used for almost everything. Do I have that right?

Shop at Walmart--your money or your life--or both

Just got back from a very brief tour of YouTube--like no more than 5 minutes before I came across this tidbit concerning the nation's leading source of crime. Now some might think is would be about crack houses, meth labs, opioid smuggling. Nah! The best brand is still American.

About the restroom safety thing

Saturday night, around 11:40pm, a 25-year-old transgender woman was inside a single-occupancy unisex bathroom at the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street in New York's Greenwich Village when a man entered the bathroom claiming he only needed to wash his hands. The man then groped and raped the woman.

The man fled the scene. The woman also left the scene, before returning an hour later and calling 911. She was taken to Lennox Hill Hospital for treatment.

In this space, there was going to be a snarky essay to introduce a required - but soggy - topic: computer safety in the era of 2013. But I lost that introduction. And that is for the good. How did it happen? Ask me tomorrow. I'm still figuring it out.

How to keep trans people alive

Of course the first part of this is...or should be...quite obvious. How about people stop murdering trans women of color?

It's time to do more than just solve each homicide as they happen. It's time to do more than just arrest these horrific people who commit these violent crimes. It's time to do the work beforehand.

--Nellie Fitzpatrick, mayor's liaison to the LGBT community in Philadelphia

It is not enough to light candles.

--Suffok, MA, District Attorney DanConley

Of course being murdered is only one of the leading causes of our demise. Another one is suicide.
