Prepping for Rising Gas Prices

More than likely site members are all over the spectrum about transportation. Some do not need a car. Some need a truck. Some need large SUVs. Some need only bicycles.
Well, seems that at my house, I need this, that, and that other, too.
Some of you caught in a traffic jam might be docked some pay. I can be late for court, and be held in contempt and subject to hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars for being late.

PSA for emergency items

I had a comment thread chock full of great ideas the last time I posted about this issue.
Today, I want to continue with a few more ideas.

Since most common tools for the kitchen, bathroom, and for personal hygiene, come from China, we thought of some common, every day items that, in the future, will be very handy to have to replace what breaks, or wears out.

PSA for emergency prep items

I mentioned I would post something about a useful item that should be helpful in a sudden break in our supply chain, or, our infrastructure.
If you find yourself without electricity or unable to get propane for your stoves, consider buying one inexpensive item that, in extreme emergency, can cook you a meal.
