I don't know exactly how much money we've spent on Ukraine so far, but this article from last week says $113 Billion. To put that into perspective, Ukraine's entire GDP in 2020 was $200 billion.

All federal agencies, including the Pentagon, are under the same requirement to undergo an independent financial audit since the early 1990s. Every other federal department has satisfied audit requirements since fiscal 2013. The Pentagon doesn't expect to pass an audit before 2027.

Usually it's the president or some senior State Department representative that throws around threats against a foreign nation. However, this week the Pentagon skipped right past the executive branch and threatened Iran directly.
