So the other day there was a big meta post that ended for me with a smack in the face from JtC for voicing my observations about something that doesn’t matter anymore. Ironically, just a few hours later what I thought was a minor sinus infection suddenly escalated into a near death experience. My airway closed and my husband had to call 911. I nearly died in our driveway. But the ambulance arrived in time and carted me off to the hospital emergency room.
