Oh Pleeze
I check in on ByeDones Twitter feed now and again. I find it a source providing a never ending stream of "insightful" observations and pronouncements. No, for real...
Anyway, topping the feed now is this.
As Kierkegaard said, “faith sees best in the dark.” I've always believed that. This pandemic is keeping many communities apart, but we've still got to keep the faith. Jill and I are wishing a Happy Easter to all of the Orthodox Christians celebrating around the world.

I fervently pray for a blessed Anastasis (Easter) for all. May we use this moment of isolation to pray as One Body for the health, safety, and recovery of all humanity, as we rejoice in the Resurrection of our Lord.
Your covid at home activity for today.
I want all those who believe Joe is an avid disciple of Kierkegaard and has committed his text to memory for convenient recall in any situation to hangout in the bathroom and reflect on this for awhile.
For those who don't believe this proposition, go to your window, stick your head out and scream "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!"
Tomorrow's ByeDone reading, Einstein's "Relativity: The Special and the General Theory" a most highly quote generating source!

Kierkegaard?
Can we send our suggestions for tweet topics to Joe (and Jill)? I have some questions about the deeper nuances of string theory. Perhaps he could enlighten me.

He might make a mess out of evolution,
I had said below that this stupid crap made me want to grab a cold beer womewhat early.
Well, I did.
Wonder what that goofy bastard might say or do if he joined me for a cold one?
I promise he would be safer with his finger on the red button than on me.

Well I suppose that faith sees best in the dark because
that it where it likes to keep everyone... like when it tells you that a man actually survived a crucifixion, came back bodily to visit his followers and eat some fish with them and then rise up bodily into the sky while taking all your sins with him. Of course that is much more than a dark tale, it's downright bullshit.
Are we surprised that Joe Biden (and Jill) are into bullshit?
"Without the right to offend, freedom of speech does not exist." Taslima Nasrin
No. They just like to serve it.
Voting for Joe and expecting that he could
actually run the country is an act of faith.
Maybe God will inhabit his empty, immoral, sold-out, lying shell of a body and run the country.
Heh, the Emperor has no clothes, yeah he really doesn't. I mean that in the sense of deeply held American beliefs. Here, finger fuck another female, colleague, here diddle a few more children, here start some more wars of choice killing another 11 million people. How about starving out another 100 million people because we don't like their form of government? But we are the faithful. To what? I just explained that.
Capitalism has always been the rule of the people by the oligarchs. You only have two choices, eliminate them or restrict their power.
Kalo Paskha
Kalo Paskha καλό Πάσχα is Happy Easter
Kalo Anastasis καλό ανάσταση is Happy Resurrection
At 12:00 this morning, if there would not have been on lockdown, many in Greece would be at a church that would light candles and the priest would come out declaring Christo Anasti...Christ has risen.
That Biden, the one true intellect! Lucky Jill!
I observed Easter by saying "Oh God! Oh God!" a lot, but not in a church, thank you very much!
That tweet makes me want to start drinking beer early.

Not trying to win.
Another Obama gift to the world, like crap health insurance, "trade agreements" for corporate profit, vast cuts in social services, expanded wars in Africa, and cabinet members courtesy of Citigroup.
The ruling classes need an extra party to make the rest of us feel as if we participate in democracy. That's what the Democrats are for. They make the US more durable than the Soviet Union was.
At least he didn't
plagiarize it. Unless, he plagiarized someone elses tweet quoting Kierkegaard? With Joe Biden this is hard to know. If he did, he prob. doesn't remember it.
Imagine him trying to pronounce
"You know, the guy that said, you know, the thing!"@#4.1
edit: oops! double click!
At any rate, Master Blog owner, I am center stage, taking a humble bow.

Joe needs to read a little more Kierkegaard
Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, Kierkegaard discussed the hierarchy of human needs. He said people have to have basic needs like food, warmth, security, etc. met before they reach a point of being able to think about things like faith. Joe skipped the most important part.
Your memory is playing tricks.
You're thinking of Abraham Maslow' Hierarchy of needs.

I'm great at multi-tasking. I can waste time, be unproductive, and procrastinate all at the same time.
Oops. Thank you!
Uhmmm, Joe? Maybe read this bit.
