ByeDone bombshell - this doesn't look good

New Docs Contradict Biden Claim That Fired Ukrainian Prosecutor Was Corrupt

Hundreds of documents obtained by The Hill's John Solomon contradict Joe Biden's claim that a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating his son's employer was corrupt and inept.

Biden infamously bragged about threatening to withhold $1 billion in US loan guarantees unless Ukraine's previous government immediately fired Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin - who was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings; a Ukrainian oil and gas firm which paid Hunter Biden $50,000 per month to sit on its board.

In a sworn affidavit, Shokin says "I was forced out because I was leading a wide-range corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine, and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, was a member of the board of directors."

And according to Solomon, "Hundreds of pages of never-released memos and documents — many from inside the American team helping Burisma to stave off its legal troubles — conflict with Biden’s narrative."

Moreover, US officials "may have painted a false picture in Ukraine that helped ease Burisma’s legal troubles and stop prosecutors’ plans to interview Hunter Biden during the 2016 U.S. presidential election."

For instance, Burisma’s American legal representatives met with Ukrainian officials just days after Biden forced the firing of the country’s chief prosecutor and offered “an apology for dissemination of false information by U.S. representatives and public figures” about the Ukrainian prosecutors, according to the Ukrainian government’s official memo of the meeting. The effort to secure that meeting began the same day the prosecutor's firing was announced.

In addition, Burisma’s American team offered to introduce Ukrainian prosecutors to Obama administration officials to make amends, according to that memo and the American legal team’s internal emails. -The Hill

Appearing on "Hannity" Thursday night, Solomon explained "These documents show, as I report tonight for the first time, that the very day that Joe Biden managed to get that Ukraine prosecutor fired, that very day his son’s company’s lawyers, the American company lawyers helping Burisma trying to fight this investigation were trying to urgently reach the new prosecutor, the replacement prosecutor."

"In that meeting, according to the official record from the prosecutor, the lawyers for Hunter Biden’s company stated to the replacement prosecutor, we know that the information calling Mr. Shokin was corrupt and was ‘False information distributed by U.S. Government officials and other figures. We would like to make this up to you by bringing you to Washington, you are not corrupt and you instigated numerous reforms.’ That is the official record of the meeting. Ukrainian prosecutors kept."

According to Solomon, the memos raise troubling questions (via The Hill):

If the Ukraine prosecutor’s firing involved only his alleged corruption and ineptitude, why did Burisma's American legal team refer to those allegations as “false information?"
If the firing had nothing to do with the Burisma case, as Biden has adamantly claimed, why would Burisma’s American lawyers contact the replacement prosecutor within hours of the termination and urgently seek a meeting in Ukraine to discuss the case?

What's more, Ukrainian prosecutors attempted to get this information to the US Department of Justice (DOJ) since last summer - first unsuccessfully engaging a US attorney in New York who they say showed no interest, and then reaching out to Rudy Giuliani, President Trump's attorney.

The truth about everything that happened in Ukraine regarding ByeDone's role in getting the prosecutor fired and Hillary's, the DNC and Fusion GPS' is coming out more and more each day. How much longer will ByeDone be able to stay in the race? If the democrats go after Trump for his corruption then how can they ignore ByeDone's?

But as Joe Lauria writes the biggest corruption that happened and is not being talked about was the illegal overthrow of a sovereign government.

They are so determined to keep Bernie out of the White House they are going to make the word "Democrat" so universally loathed that even Bernie won't be able to win. Heck, about now Jesus Christ wouldn't be able to win running as a Democrat.

"It's strange to see my journalism twisted, perverted, and turned into lies and poisonous propaganda by Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and their enablers," explains journalist James Risen. "But that's what has happened to a news story I wrote four years ago."

A new ad for President Donald Trump's 2020 reelection campaign is being widely denounced for including a totally "fabricrated" lie about Democratic rival Joe Biden and comes just days after House Democrats launched an official impeachment inquiry into the president over his exchange with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine earlier this year and allegations the White House has engaged in a "massive cover-up" to avoid the full truth from emerging.

As is true of many falsehoods put forth by Trump, however, the false and misleading claims against Biden and his son are based on unfounded conspiracy theories circulating within the right-wing echo chamber. And the president's insistence on spreading them—given all the available documentation and reporting—appears like willful deceit on the part of his campaign.

Hmmm willful deceit. Kinda like what Schiff did in congress yesterday? I haven't seen that written anywhere my on so called right wing echo chamber sites.

I have found Russia Gater Risen's take on facts since he was prosecuted under the EA very strange. He seems to always be on the side of the establishment.

@snoopydawg in action. I have one of Risen's books, can't remember the title, but it was written before said sell out and if I remember right it got him in trouble with the establishment. He must have wanted to come back into the fold for all that lovely money instead of being a truthful pariah. Of course he's not the only one but one of the more glaring examples IMHO.

Is this why he was persecuted by Obama? Take a look at the title and let us know. I'm interested to know what he wrote about. If it's about torture or something else.

@snoopydawg "Pay Any Price: Greed, Power and Endless War" published in 2014. I haven't read it in a while, I should go back and read it again since so many of my own stances since then have radically changed - meaning back then I was still in the Dem bubble and believed where we are was all the fault of Repugnants. It is about the War on Terror, the economics of that as well as some abuse of Administrative power.

But I do think you are right about Risen protecting sources and that's how he got in trouble with the establishment. Seems he's been welcomed back into the fold since he went for Shillary in 2016 and he's now at The Intercept, which is when I stopped reading him for the most part.

I know what you mean. I read Gore's book about the Bush administration abuses and was smitten with every word he wrote. But then nothing happened. No calls for reining Bush and Cheney in, no calls for impeachment or for anything. It made me feel that he just wrote it for the money. So it seems Risen too wrote about something important and then....

I read the Intercept with my eyes open. Risen I just read when I need something to cheer me up and make me laugh. It's so amazing how he turned a complete 180 on everything he used to believe. Maybe it was part of the deal he got not to go to prison? I can't say I wouldn't make the same choice.

Heh.. just remembered. Rachel has a new book coming out. I wonder how much different it will be from Drift which she wrote in 2012 back when she was anti war? I am going to ask her next time I see her tweet about it. So far she has never answered my tweets. Bummer huh?

The Democrats gave us Biden and war instead.

... Biden is Biden.
At this point in the race he's just one politician, not the face of the party. Six months from now if he had the nomination locked up he would be the face of the party and this would have a broad impact. Now it just makes Biden himself look bad. I'm not sure to what extent it even reflects on Obama.
Forcing this to come out now rather than later is the best possible outcome. We can only hope it doesn't get drowned out in the media frenzy. We don't need Biden out of the race, we need his support to drop to single digits ASAP.

MSDNC, CNN, etc. will only report Solomon's and any critics' claims with the proviso that what they are saying/writing has been "debunked." Or they disparage any and all of it as fake news.

How much longer will ByeDone be able to stay in the race?

He's defended by the MSM. He'll get the AA vote unless Obama renounces him. More likely Obama will step in and endorse him and stump for him if Joe's polling numbers drop to around 20%.

If the democrats go after Trump for his corruption then how can they ignore ByeDone's?

@Wally

for ByeDone? Didn't he tell Joe that he didn't have to do this? This will be interesting to watch for. I'm thinking this Ukraine scandal from ByeDone's point of view grows some legs. Why else are so many people trying to say that it was looked at years ago and debunked when it never was? Might be interesting..huh?

@snoopydawg The fact that they're now saying debunked over and over again just shows they needed to shift that narrative a bit, too much information out there that looks bad so let's now use "debunked" and anyone who thinks otherwise is merely a Trumper or Putin shill.

@lizzyh7 They are so blatant, so dumb, so inflexible as to be as subtle as neon signs over an exit door. Whatever the pitch from Trump, the MSM will always spin it negatively. So when they try to downplay a scandal, you know there is substance in the allegations.

You mean like how they howl about RUSSIARUSSIARUSSIA "interfering" in the general election while ignoring their own corruption in the primary?

But as Joe Lauria writes the biggest corruption that happened and is not being talked about was the illegal overthrow of a sovereign government.

You mean like how everyone wants to focus on how Wikileaks got HER emails rather than looking at what's actually in them (and has never been disputed)?

It's the same old shell game. Here's something flamboyant and loud to distract while even worse corruption happens elsewhere. (See also: impeachment.)

But
Her's supporters say that is just conspiracy and Hillary won the primary fair and square because she got 4 million more votes than Bernie. They seem to forget that California called Cal for her the day before we voted or that not all of the votes were counted. Or that it was Hillary's idea to have the media promote Trump to the tune of $2 billion in free advertising. But they never talk about how the same media refused to cover Bernie. Who told MSDNC not to let Ed Schultz cover his coming out speech? Funny huh?

from Zero Hedge and I hit the links to the statement by Shokin. Pretty damning for Joe et al, and not surprising at all. I have read so many books about corruption over the last few years. I started in about 2010 or so with the financial crisis thinking I am an accountant, surely I can learn about that. And that started the ball rolling. I am not good at writing about these books, I would have to get back into college mode and I would really need an editor! The Shock Doctrine really opened my eyes first and I have never seen capitalism the way I used to. I never will again either.

But after reading all I have, all the Wall Street deals, sell outs to blatant corruption from all our leaders, the history of the CIA and the deep state, the media cooptation and consolidation and their blatant lies, I feel I know enough by now to start to really see the patterns. It isn't just CT bullshit and speculation but realizing these people will stop at nothing to own the entire globe and everything on it. It isn't partisan, it isn't even only American, it is truly only about money and power, all the rest is just noise to distract.

I find myself very frustrated that people still don't get it, but then again, it took me years to really get here, seeing it, starting to guess at their tactics, sounding like a loon to the "uninitiated." C99 as well as Daily Kos helped me get here. (I hate giving the GOS credit but it too was part of the learning curve. A long twisty one.) Conspiracy Theory as a term was invented by Allen Dulles to label those who questioned the magic bullet theory with JFK. That right there shows the power of these people, how long it has been used and to what ends as well. Very hard for Americans to want to see that for what it is. Pisses them off, big time.

This farce is going to really blow back on him more than it will Trump because Trump has his office and state department behind him on this. Zelensky wasn't even aware that Trump had held the funds at the time of the call so how could he be asking for a quid quo?

The information about Hillary and the DNC working with the woman in Ukraine to get dirt on Trump is finally coming out, but it's still considered CT on ToP and other sites. But they never believed anything but the official Hillary story on why she lost. Russia and every person but herself.

The other thing that people aren't questioning is why the CIA dude wrote the report? Is the CIA allowed to operate here inside the country? I thought that was the FBIs role or duty? But then the FBI already shot its wad on Russia Gate and blew it. Mueller was supposed to take down Trump, but.... and his performance as a brick in front of congress didn't go over well.

Moon of Alabama has another good write up and there are some great links in the comments. That Volker resigned today instead of Trump firing him says a lot too. He's in charge of McCain's foundation which is where many people who have decided to put their money after Hillary lost and her foundation wasn't important anymore. I read about that soon after she lost. But Volker also has ties to George Soros and his open society foundation which he uses for regime change. Or color revolutions.

But after reading all I have, all the Wall Street deals, sell outs to blatant corruption from all our leaders, the history of the CIA and the deep state, the media cooptation and consolidation and their blatant lies, I feel I know enough by now to start to really see the patterns.

It took me awhile to see them too. I thought that Bush's tenure was just an abnormality and once Obama got elected everything would go back to normal. But now we see that normal is where we are now. Trump isn't doing much of anything that Obama didn't do and he didn't do much of what Bush didn't do... Trump is just more brutish than Obama was and I think it was Obama's charm that hid the things he did. I learned a lot of this at ToP, but it took the DNC shenanigans and Hillary's corruption during her tenure as SOS to remove the rest of the blinders from my eyes.

This is interesting.

As is this.

Truman wrote an op ed about the CIA after JFK was murdered and the CIA did everything it could to keep people from reading it. The CIA was created to be a central point for intelligence agencies to put their information, but Dulles took it into a direction it wasn't supposed to go. Woola..the Iran coup happened.
