US to press Sexual Rights at UN 2030 Conference

Sexual Rights? Suuuure. Once again the US is going to jump out into the global arena telling everybody else to adopt policies that it has no intention whatsoever of ever adopting itself.

Per this article: America's small change on 'sexual rights' could have big impact - CSMonitor.com we're now going to champion “sexual rights” in discussions of human rights and global development. Bwahahahaha.
For what we are telling others to do as we say and not as we do, see below.

Per the above article:

Sexual rights is an umbrella term for reproductive health, sexual orientation, and sexual violence. It includes people’s “right to have control over and decide freely and responsibly on matters related to their sexuality, including sexual and reproductive health, free of coercion, discrimination, and violence,” said Richard Erdman, a deputy US ambassador to the United Nations, in an announcement Tuesday.

So, I guess we just repealed the Hyde amendment. Catholic hospitals will no longer be eligible to contract to provide medical services to specified groups of people unless they provide, you know, all relevant medical services. All "bathroom bills" are now pre-empted and discrimination in all respects against GLBTQ persons is forbidden nationwide.

!Que Mirac!

It's nice that we're pushing this, but, really, we should consider trying to actually, you know, do it here sometime.
