So I "cruzed" over to CNN.com to see how Fox Lite is spinning the latest news. It appears Ted Cruz has picked Carly Fiorina as his running mate! This is sure to bring those pesky Trump supporters back to reality. Anyway, this news prompted Carly to break out with her latest hit, a little diddy about her and Cruz's daughters. I hope you all survived that!. On with the news. CNN spins the announcement by the Sanders campaign that they are laying off a couple hundred workers. Their explanation is that with 40 states behind them they don't need such a large staff. This would make sense to most people but not CNN. They and their talking vacuum head, Wolf, had to put their own special spin on it.

But it's a blunt acknowledgment that Sanders is not preparing for the long haul and no longer needs such a robust staff. The campaign also is uncertain whether its fundraising success will continue given the trajectory of the race, and senior advisers concluded it was time to downsize back to a smaller scale.

Child molester Dennis Hastert gets 15 months not for molesting children but for paying hush money to one of his victims. The irony of this deplorable Hastert experience is former republican congressmen petitioning the judge for leniency. For one former upstanding congressman:

"He is a good man that loves the Lord," wrote former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. "He gets his integrity and values from Him. He doesn't deserve what he is going through. I ask that you consider the man that is before you and give him leniency where you can."

This is the same party that wants to keep Transgender people out restrooms...go figure...
