Rob Quist closes the gap in Montana

A poll two weeks ago had Republican candidate Greg Gianforte leading Rob Quist by 15 percentage points in the race for Montana’s U.S. House seat.
Then they had their televised debate.
Today a new poll shows Quist has narrowed the lead to 6 points.
Quist has managed to do this despite being absolutely buried in spending by the millionaire, carpetbagger Gianforte. Quist, a Berniecrat, has been mostly abandoned by the Democratic establishment.
With just eight weeks left until the May 25 election, no national group has bought broadcast ads on behalf of Democrat Rob Quist, the musician-songwriter and first-time candidate running for the open seat against Republican Greg Gianforte and Libertarian Mark Wicks.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) – the main national party group dedicated to helping Democratic U.S. House candidates – doesn’t mention the race on its website and didn’t return several messages left by MTN News.
It has also has made no independent expenditures on the race.
Grassroots efforts has managed to raise over $2.5 million for Quist.
This race looks a whole bunch like James Thompson in Kansas last month.

Will probably end the same way too.
Always the bridesmaid.

Something happened in CA-24 last year
Berniecrat Bill Ostrander not no support from the DCCC when running against Salud Carbajal, establishment Dem (who is against MFA/SP) in the jungle primary. Why am I not surprised?
With the same result:
