A quick diary on Ferguson redux....

This will be short.
There are a couple of diaries up on DK about another police shooting of a young black man in Ferguson, with the obligatory leaving him bleeding out while they... I don't know. Check the donuts at the 7-11?
The cops of course are claiming they were fired upon (although according to both diaries that seems plausible in this case). And of course they did the obvious thing; fire blindly while civilians were all around.

Thanks for the post, John. DK, just heard 'AP' say that
Harris (I believe, only saw his name once) is facing 10 charges. So, presumably, he's alive.
Also, at one time, following the shooting/during surgery, he was reported to be in 'critical and unstable' condition.
Mr M heard that he sustained a huge number of bullets, as bystanders fled in terror for cover.
He also read that a "State Of Emergency" was declared in Ferguson.

The county prosecutors have decided to file charges
against the young man (Tyrone Harris). And, yes, a state of emergency was declared.
I guess that's the state's way of marking the 1-year anniversary of Michael Brown's death by cop.
