We're being deceived The powers that be are trying to use the capture of media and big lies to shaft our workers again.

Several of the things Reich is saying have the ring of truth here. The biggest one is this: The alleged "worker shortage" is a scam. People are struggling.

But what Reich isn't telling us is something he was involved, no doubt in setting up.

The fake worker shortage is the prelude to the outsourcing of tens of millions of jobs via GATS We already agreed to do it in 1994. Also we may "have to" end the minimum wage, This is what they really want to do. Partnering with India, who will benefit the most from brokering millions of low wage high skill jobs. They make a huge profit margin on these tech and recently unionized jobs. No Indian temp firms dont have unions. Also they want to end Social Security because so much of the money will be going overseas anyway. US workers will be shut out. This global change is intended to destroy the middle class. Dont think engineers could be paid $6.50 an hour? Get used to it. Thats what a Maylasian firm wanted to pay a quality assurance engineer recently while applying for a work permit to have them work in the USA. They proposed payment overseas in maylasian ringgits, but the pay rate translated to $6.50 an hour (assuming a 40 hour week) The USCIS rejected that rate a being too low, thank goodness. But it seems that up until 2017 these firms were often gettiung away with paying these workers almost nothing, and they resent having to pay a US legal wage very strnuously in the international organizations these laws are made in. It seems $9/hr is more than their workers ever make elsewhere. They claim this requirement "nullifies or impairs" their rights under the WTO services treaty. Get the picture? They pay them into their overseas bank accounts. The money thats paid the foreign workers isnt visible to the US firms that contract for them. Or the US government.

Social Security violates WTO rules they will say. The Annex on Financial Services, part of the financial services agreement. It "unfairly competes" with foreign banks eagar to take advantage of newly unemployed Americans desperate future needs for mortgage credit, as interest rates rise. The foreign banks want in on that action. Minimum wage is being framed as an unfair trade barrier to foreign staffing firms. Temporary skilled labor of all kinds, doctors, nurses, teachers, energy and construction workers. And "green collar workers". All the workers the US lacks at low Middle Eastern/South Asian/African wages.

If its framed as preventing foreign firms from operating here with their workers, since they have an well vested right to replace our workers "who dont want to work" for $5/day or less. (whatever the average global rate is at that time, you can bet its less than here) I don't know. Can you se what they are manuvering into place here? Its been planned for years. The destruction of the US middle class.

Read about the issues with this global labor trading scheme which is supposed to lower wages globally. We already signed up for this treaty on December 8, 1994. The "GATS" as it called is explained - as far as its implications for global migration and guest workers. Its intended to lower wages and employ millions from the global South nations in the rich countries doing the bread and butter "services" jobs that make up a large portion of the economy.on the ILO and OECD web sites. The Quakers (the AFSC) and FPIF have written extensively about this global job grab and its implications, in "Trade Matters" a publication of theirs.

In short this all was planned out in advance, beginning in 1986 with the Declaration at Punta Del Este of 20 September 1986. (where we made "services" "tradable" Turning most of our peoples jobs into poker chips in a giant international game). Thats when the system was rigged. Or started to be rigged. Thats what the Uruguay Round negotiations establishing the WTO in the early 1990s were all about. We also tied ourselves to the for profit healthcare system at that time, making healthcare in all likelihood impossibly costly to fix forever. We would have to buy our freedom to regulate it back with our peoples jobs. Buy our freedom to regulate back, back, like buying ones freedom under slavery. "Modern slavery" is what this is.

Please tell people about this. The lying liars should not be able to lie to all of us so shamefully without being called out on them. We're being set up for a huge economic implosion.

Without jobs and decent incomes, this country will become an economic wasteland. Retail will close everywhere. By offshoring jobs they will leave young people with nowhere to work and they will leave for better prospects and better jobs elsewhere. There already is a huge diaspora of young Americans in Eastern Europe. And they aren't there intending to come back, or often they cant afford to come back because the high cost of health care makes it impossible for them to afford to. Sometimes they can be carried on their European health insurance for a year but after that they hit the high cost of healthcare in the US and combined with housing, if they have kids, it kills them. They end up going back.

This is the house the globalist cult's GATS built for us. The cost of US style healthcare over a lifetime, per capita is at least half a million dollars extra over what people pay in the civilized world.
