The People at Crowdstrike are Literally Imbeciles

The outstanding report by Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, revealing that the main DNC material released by Guccifer 2.0 had been obtained by local download (by thumbdrive or LAN line) – rather than remote hacking – and that the metadata of these documents had been intentionally altered with “Russian fingerprints” in an effort to falsely incriminate Russia (https://consortiumnews.com/2017/07/24/intel-vets-challenge-russia-hack-e...), has been discussed in a new article in the Washington Times:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jul/27/with-robert-mueller-fbi-...

The most intriguing part of this article is this passage:

The Times showed the VIPS memo to CrowdStrike.
"We find the argument unsubstantiated and inaccurate, based on a fundamental flaw," a company spokesman said.

The VIPS report said that on July 5, 2016, a DNC insider copied data and imprinted code to make it look like it was Russian hackers.

The CrowdStrike spokesman said that by July 5 all malware had been removed from the DNC network and thus the hackers copied files that were already in their own systems.

"We continue to stand by our report, technical analysis and attribution as it was issued on June 15, 2016,” the spokesman said. “Additionally, the CIA, NSA and FBI, as well as several independent security firms, have arrived at the same conclusion with high degree of confidence as described in their joint Jan. 7 report and multiple congressional testimonies."

Uh, precisely how would the existence or nonexistence of hacking malware on a computer influence one’s ability to download data on a thumbdrive?!!

And these are the mental giants on whom our intelligence agencies rely to determine the course of our foreign policy?

that the DNC has allowed to look at their hardware. They've even turned down the FBI. The whole company and situation stinks to high heaven.

I had come across a very interesting collation of information, that organizes Gucifer 2.0 related factoids into a compelling whole: something etablishment Democrats would surely call a Conspiracy Theory. The timeline alone should be enough to want to turn the page.

The CIA, NSA and FBI weren't allowed to examine the hacked server. The only way they arrived at the same conclusion was by basing their conclusion on the Crowdstrike analysis. "Crowdstrike says Russia did it, so Russia must have done it!!!"

@edg Because governmental agencies were prohibited from examining the DNC server, any issuance of a so called verification based solely upon the Crowdstrike report is worthless. I am inclined to believe the VIPS rather than a firm with deep connections to the Atlantic Council and who was being paid by the DNC to produce the outcomes they (the DNC) wished. Why would anyone believe the DNC nor their hired lap dogs when the DNC is already admitting that they are corrupt in court?

Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?

Obviously you are right and it doesn't, and I'm sure Crowdstrike knows that. But that comment from them is typical of the rhetorical sleight of hand they've been using to spin the narrative. For instance, it's no accident that they keep calling this a hack when the only fact we know is that Podesta and others got phished. There is a difference. Labeling this a hack depends on most people's "I don't understand all this computer stuff" attitude and allows them to continue with the RUSSIARUSSIARUSSIA story-line. So a red herring of a line like that operates the same way. Most people will hear that and assume Crowdstrike had it under control, without even registering that what they said had nothing to do with the accusations.

Classic - the Big Lie typically works on enough of the people enough of the time if it only gets repeated often enough. But at this point - enough is enough of the Big Lie repeats! We're done laughing at them and getting more than a little pissed off.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
