Overdosing

I figure if I have survived so far with a relatively fair amount of confidence in life despite its challenges, I don’t want my last efforts to remain sane and healthy to be in response to covid. So let’s share a little lightness.

Cheers everyone!

Hard to believe that you are still going through this madness. Go walk on the beach and let the salty wind cleanse your soul.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

Voting is like driving with a toy steering wheel.

Your prescription is taken with pleasure and appreciation.

The day before yesterday we had a single day of sunshine. The rain has been relentless. Even though it is still beautiful in the rain, a break is very welcome once in a while.

We might step ahead to more normality next week.

Thank you for your wishes to stay strong. I wish the same for you. What's Sam up to these days?

Took Sam swimming and we had to walk a good way to reach the water. Got stuck in the mud a few times but found a dry way back. Lots of laughing happened when it kept stealing my shoes. Sam played Pig Pen and had mud up to her eyebrows.

We’ve had a few good storms and snow in the mountains. Hopefully it will continue thru the winter and fill our lakes and dams back up.

I’m planning a trip to Great Basin in Nevada soon. Just a car trip this time to see what’s up there. Might throw away some money at the slot machine robbers whilst in Wendover. If I go that way. You are having spring now right? Enjoy it.

and becoming beach-like. Good that the two of you can enjoy it the way it is right now, and hopefully you get the snow and melt that you need. I can just picture Sam with mud up to her eyes : ).

It's been a very odd Spring here. Early Spring is generally very changeable, but normally the weather would be beginning to settle by now, but it's still very fickle. At least all the dams have recovered from last years drought.

Stay well

write me a pm once in a while and tell me where you are, what's going on in your life etc.

Please.

I hope you stay healthy and strong enough. I miss you.

Love and peace, in the wise words of eyo.

Do you know there is a good guy in Germany, I wished would become our Chancellor or something of that power one day. He uses the expression: "Menschenverachtend" (which google translates into inhumane)

I like the German word better. Because we too could just use the German word "inhuman", but "Menschenverachtend" is much more clear. The guy is always pretty clear in his wording and thinking.

So, I will support him.

All the best to you for now and ever. Smile

@mimi

I'll write to you soon, and fill you in a bit.

I can well imagine you supporting the politician who objects to inhumanity. The German word means literally - 'despising people'.

Thank you for your love and peace.

the light grows and I hope your optimism with it. Dark grows here. Though time will shift next week so we can see light before 7 or 8 AM.

Brought in the house plants yesterday. We've had most of them for forty something years. It is nice being surrounded by old friends full of green cheer in the gray of winter. They look great now, but will begin a slow decline until they are back outside in the natural world.

Keep a good thought and enjoy the unfolding of spring. We're in full fall color here.

All the best!

for bringing images of fall colours and 40 year-old plant companions. You must enjoy the restful season coming up. Stay well.

@QMS

My choice of subject line was probably not a good one.

I had just been asking myself if we as a whole, as well as myself, weren’t being overdosed with unease on top of the disease. I am fortunate though that I have satisfying friendships and family relationships, as well as being surrounded by beautiful nature, and now access to my favourite beaches. Restrictions will probably lighten up next week which will help recover some normality in life. Because I am yet unvaccinated I will probably still be quite restricted, so I am facing the challenge and questions of how to navigate it all for now.

But I had a wonderful day today on a blanket at my local domain with a friend, and a walk at low tide on the beach.
