This Metal Fragment is a Big Deal

I think the piece of metal that zings out of Hillary's pant leg just prior to her collapse is a big deal. It fell with a 'zing' and not a 'ping', as if it slid down a rod on its way to the ground. She immediately buckled and had to be thrown into ambulance-van.

I'd like someone with a little medical knowledge to chime in here: My best guess is some kind of pelvic brace that supports her hips, or keeps her knees locked.

If she was unable to walk it would explain the need for a look alike to stand in for a day.

I'd more suspect

her of being a robot if a person her age is in perfect health.
And built better argument doesn't necessarily follow. Take tech between Russia and US in the 50s. Russia had really good rockets and really crappy nukes compared to us. They had to have good rockets because their nukes were so bad, and they could get away with bad nukes because their rockets were so good.

actually using russian rocket engines from the actual 60s? i want to say they bought a bunch that were found in storage a few years ago.

i don't think clinton is using rocket engines at all, fwiw.

No, SpaceX uses engines of their own design

(the Merlin) in the Falcon boosters. You're thinking of ULA, the United Launch Alliance (read "Lockheed-Martin and Boeing"), which is using the Russian RD-180 in the Atlas V booster. There was quite a bit of publicity for this recently when Congress was talking about banning the Russian engines- that would have thrown pretty much the entire space launch business to SpaceX, since there aren't any more refurbed Titan IVs to play with, and the Delta IV Heavy production rate is really low (on the order of 1/yr, and I think is dedicated entirely to Air Force use, launching into polar orbit from Vandenburg).

which is dumb--if she really is catheterized, there are a number of metal clips on a cath rig, IIRC. So I'm thinking no, she wasn't being propped up, and her prop broke.

Eeek. If you read that somewhere else, it was a really bad trial balloon

Just one of the speculations I've heard. And you know, a catheter wouldn't be an issue, if it wasn't for them trying so desperately to hide its existence. Same for all of her medical problems. If they were just normal, getting old related ailments, that had no potential impact on her ability to lead, why would there be any reason to hide them from the public? Hiding normal, non-job-affecting illnesses just creates a scenario where speculation will run rampant. On the other hand, the purpose of being all secretive about her medical issues is to hide something that will have an effect on her capabilities to do the job she wants to have, which validates the speculation.

Perhaps the special blue

Perhaps the special blue glasses are to protect her eyes from the sun, her protective skin had melted and re-solidified affecting her movement, and the chronic dehydration issue is because she need to regularly drink the blood of the poors, which would create bad optics if done in public?
