Looking for love, in all the wrong places

The Patriot Prayer Parade was held yesterday in Portland, Oregon to much hype by the MSM. After a week of drumming for violence between the group headed by Joey Gibson and opposition protesters, what the MSM are now calling Antifa, pronouncing it ann-tee-fa, the event was relatively peaceful. The talking heads, nationwide, have been ordered to downplay the fascist edge to Antifa by a simple change in diction. Even ABC World News has received the memo.
I didn't hear Gibsons speech but excerpts by the local media quote him saying he is grateful for the police protection from the opposition protesters whom he feared would attack his Confederate Battle flag waving, motorcycle helmet wearing, football padded group.
Opposition protesters were largely wearing shorts and tee-shirts.
Police confisticated numerous knives, clubs, and elaborate Confederate flag emblazoned shields from the Prayer group.
The PP group was greatly outnumbered by the American flag waving counter protesters. Portland police arrested four people in total, for failure to disperse.
Joey Gibson is running for the Senate in my district.
I reviewed his Candidates Statement in the voter guide and found it very convoluting and hypocritical. He shows a profound lack of understanding of which side he is on.
For example, he cites;
"The government now often works for big business. Many laws and taxes this government touches on often only help the top .001% and hurts those on the bottom."
He goes on to say that Bernie Sanders and his supporters are confused by pointing their fingers at the private sector only, and not government corruption. Really?
He goes on;
"Big corporations have too much say in our government. We need a fair and free market that would allow normal people to rise up and compete."
Gee, how refreshing. I've never heard anything like that from Bernie or is followers.
"Term limits are an absolute must for this elitist culture we have in Washington, D.C. We can no longer allow these career politicians to reign over our country while they reel in millions of dollars by selling out the American people."
Wow. You'd think this guy was appealing to a certain (BS) segment of society.
"I will never vote for a bill that will further take away our liberties because the Constitution has already been violated and trampled all over by these corrupt polititcians."
I dunno.
Per his Candidates Statement, Joey Gibson "prefers" the Republican Party.
A left-handed rightest. Who would have thunk?

the little things you can do are more valuable than the giant things you can't! - @thanatokephaloides. On Twitter @wink1radio. (-2.1) All about building progressive media.

@Wink They'll certainly have plenty to digitally oscillate their Vienna Sausages to then. Fucking pigs.

Of course, if either side of this IDPOL clusterfuck had any ability to critically think, they wouldn't be doing this shit.

Modern education is little more than toeing the line for the capitalist pigs.

Guerrilla Liberalism won't liberate the US or the world from the iron fist of capital.

Just a general comment, but maybe instead of mocking the thought we should tryreaching out. Of course it won't work - most of the time - but look at how far being so superior has been.

First of all, he doesn't know what he's talking about.
Secondly, he doesn't know what he is talking about.
Thirdly, he doesn't know what he is talking about.
etc., etc., etc.

For the right price, I am sure he will make a damn fine senator from your district. Why not throw a couple of bucks his way--and throw a few fish my way too.

are CIA. By that I mean both groups probably have deep state sponsorship.

he's trying to attract the " Berniecrats", for lack of a better word.
Bernie won overwhelmingly in the caucuses in Washington state, a fact Gibson and his campaign surely haven't missed.
Like Trump, tact to the left (better relations with Russia, anti warmongering, anti TPP, stop the bleeding of jobs leaving here, drain the swamp, fake news media ), then tact back right after the win.
Basically, say whatever it takes to win.
But I could be wrong.
I've spent enough time at rightwing sites (Breitbart, Zero Hedge) to know they support these same issues too.
Lord knows, I've been reaching out to them.

Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
